Comfortable and firm support
I need inclined support due to a circulation problem that causes my face to swell if I sleep on a normal horizontal bed. This mattress wedge arrived well packaged, and was in perfect shape to install after only 4 hours. It works wonderfully. So well, in fact that I got to tinkering with the wedge to get even more incline. Probably not recommended by the manufacturer, but I cut the wedge about 16 inches above the foot. The toe end of the pad is about 1 inch thick, so that dropped my foot by that extra inch. Then I installed that cutting under the head which raised the head by over 2 inches. This 2 step alteration made an effective 3 inch addition to the wedge and the mattress is still smooth. LOVE IT!!

works for acid reflux but ultimately it hurt my back
The product does as stated. We got the 5" for my husband's chronic acid reflux and his dependence on prilosec. It absolutely enabled him to wean himself off the pills and his acid reflux is gone! It was gradual- maybe took a few months for him to be certain it was gone. However, I gradually began to have more back pain in the morning. When we removed the wedge, my pain also gradually went away. So 5 stars because it works as advertised but take away a star because of the unintended consequence for me. I still highly recommend it as my back is very sensitive

Takes a little time getting used to lying on an angle.
The foam took a few days to fully expand, never made it to 7 inches but between around 6 to 6.5 . It is ordinary foam it seems to me. I did not get the cover and my regular mattress is not moving around at all with this uncovered foam mattress underneath it. You have to adjust to sleeping on this mattress, at first I had a little pain in lower back and shoulders. I think it’s just because turning to your side ,you are not flat, and the mattress hits you body in those places because you are on an angle. Your body needs to adjust to the angle. After a week or so I did adjust but i still slide down and have to shimmy up every now and then. I have been able to stop omeprazole for some periods of time but I end up back on it, so not totally off of it as the Gerd i have is pretty bad.

Good Quality
I gave it 5 stars because it’s good quality. As for if it’s saving my esophagus, that is hard to say. I think it’s helping some. I will acknowledge that it raises the bed so much, it looks ridiculous. I got the 7” and my bed looks like Mt. Everest. However, I knew that was gonna be the case. No need to lower the rating for that. It’s supposed to look like it does. Anyway, just wanted to say it’s nicely made… it’s really up to my doctors to tell me wether having a raised head of the bed is actually helping.

Comfortable elevation that does not distract
I bought the 5" king size and it has been great on our new bed. My wife suffers from acid reflux and frequent congestion so the little bit of incline has been very nice.

Does the job, sort of
After sleeping on a DIY slanted mattress for a while and getting excellent results for both GERD and snoring alike, I decided to make it legit with this elevator. Came quickly as ordered, mine had zero odor/off gassing as some describe. It quickly regained shape after just a few hours, but maxed out at about 6&1/2 inches. Easy install (I put old twin fitted sheets over them for protection), very tolerable slant for a good first night’s sleep on them. Overpriced? A bit. Really 7 inches? Not quite. But adequate and hoping for the best. Yes.

Full Nights Sleep!
Hi Everyone, For the past two years, I have been battling GERD caused by a Hiatal Hernia. Gradually, I've discovered the right combination of foods (primarily alkaline) and exercise (heel drops), along with PPIs, to help manage my condition. However, sleeping comfortably remained a challenge. I initially tried using specialized pillows, then transitioned to an adjustable base bed, but I still experienced a pinching sensation on my right side that seemed to exacerbate the problem. Though this may sound like a promotional testimonial, it's simply my experience. I purchased the Lucid Mattress Elevator (7-inch) and combined it with the Lucid300 Adjustable Base Bed that I already owned. This allowed me to sleep "flat" on the mattress elevator and, when needed, introduce a subtle 1-2 inch curve using the adjustable base. As a result, I have enjoyed my first good night's sleep in over two years. I haven't encountered anyone else who has combined these two products, so I wanted to share that it has worked for me. One minor caveat is that the adjustment process seems slightly slower than before, but the overall outcome is worth it.

Perfect for acid reflux sufferers - Highly recommended
If you suffer from acid reflux, this is a perfect solution and will help considerably. If you haven't used a solution like this before, be forewarned, it takes some time to get used to but once you do, you won't even notice it. The 7" lift is noticeably better than the 5" in my opinion. Foam is dense and holds it form once full expanded. Mattress will move a little every so often but isn't too difficult to readjust. Highly recommended

Seller gave a tracking number that didn't exist
Product is great. Shipping was the problem took for ever to get a tracking number. When they finally sent it the number didn't exist.
