Comfortable

There’s good and bad
The chair isn’t heavy, but it’s not light. It isn’t something I’m going to be carrying around all the time. It will just have to be left in a blind and I’ll get another chair. It creaks, and that’s on first use. I’m sitting in it right now creaking back and forth. To me, in a hunting situation, that’s 100% inexcusable. The telescoping legs are nice however 3 of the 4 cannot extend without a terrible screeching sound because they are so tight. When I did get them out, paint had scraped off. Even with their legs at the shortest length however, the chair sits too high for a normal pop up blind which is odd. I really have to dip down low to shoot out. The chair is comfortable and the padded arm rests are a plus, but that’s about where the positives end. I’m a little dissatisfied to be honest, and can now see why it was on sale.

Just the right hight for me.
I like this seat, I needed to replace a seat that was similar but needed to sit a bit taller, I use it to be comfortable using my wood splitter, sitting for 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour, or as long as the wood I need to split up is within reach. The 17" high seat I had been using was wearing out and this 20" seat was a favorable replacement. My knees are no longer in a position to cause them to lock up on me, and there is even a place for my water bottle to keep me hydrated.

NOT AT ALL COMFORTABLE!! I returned it.
I really wanted to like this chair, and I really needed it, but it wasn't even close to being comfortable. I'm 6' 3" and 200 lbs, so the extra height and individually adjustable chair legs was what I was looking for. However, the chair back is far too vertical to be comfortable, the horizontal bar at the top of the chair back was WAY too hard and uncomfortable, and the chair seat was too short from front to back (which is worsened by the sloping down of the front edge of the seat, effectively shortening the depth of the seat even more). Barronett needs to keep the bottom half of the chair (the legs) and totally redesign the chair portion - the chair back is too vertical and too right-angle, the top bar on the chair back really hits your back, and the seat is too short. WAY too uncomfortable, and I only sat in it for 5 minutes. Sitting in it all day would be absolute torture. I cannot recommend it.

Quiet and sturdy
Seems to be good quality. I am 6'2" and weigh 220 lbs, and it's important to me that this chair be able to handle some abuse. Plenty big enough for me to sit comfortably with several layers of clothes, including an insulated parka and pants. I would have given 5 stars, but I haven't used it when hunting, so I don't know is easy or difficult to set up. I think it will easy, but only time will tell. I don't know if I will be able to update this review later, but I'll try.

So far, so good.
Solid chair that appears to be well made. Comfort level remains to be seen as I have not used it for a prolonged period as yet. Will see how good it is after the deer season begins next month, so I'll only give it 4 stars at this time.
