Not bad for basic everyday conditioning enough for higher end pieces. Subtle leather smell

I like the value for the price and I am generally happy with the product overall. Subtle leather smell could be stronger in my opinion and the light milky color could also be a bit darker for my taste. However it’s a good product for your everyday common leather goods

Established Brand Stays true to quality

Ive been using this brand for home and Auto Leather for over 20 years and I will not try another brand again. I admit it,I strayed and tried other brands, BIG mistake. Lexol should be the ONLY brand in your leather care arsinol!

Lexol Is My Favorite Choice for Leather Care Products

I've used several brands of leather cleaners and conditioners over the years. Lexol has produced top tier results, but the biggest advantage that Lexol has is it's the easiest to work with. It's a lot easier and quicker to clean and condition leather with Lexol over all the other brands that I have used. One example of this is the Lexol doesn't leave a residue or require staying applied for an unreasonable amount of time to achieve good results. I use Lexol with excellent results on all types of leathers: automobiles, furniture, shoes, belts, jackets, and so on. Here are a few tips for using leather cleaners and conditioners. 2-in-1 cleaner/conditioners don't work as well as a separate cleaner and conditioner does. No matter how clean the leather looks, use the cleaner before you use the conditioner. The leather may look clean, but if you start applying the conditioner first, you will see the dirt get picked up in the conditioner. By nature all cleaners will pull moisture out of the leather. This is why it is important to follow up with conditioner soon after cleaning. Because of this, you will want to work in manageable sections at a time. For example: if you are going to clean and conditioner the leather in your car, don't clean all the leather and then condition it. Clean one seat then condition it before moving on to the next seat. Let the conditioner stay on for a while before wiping away excess. The longer the conditioner stays on, the more moisture the leather will absorb. Using applicators, instead of towels, to apply the cleaner and conditioner will reduce the amount used.

Ideal for ALL leather care - cars, trucks and baseball gloves too!

This leather treatment seems to work better than any other I’ve used over the years. We have noticed a significant improvement in the softness of the leather in the 3 different cars we have. If you want your seats to shine, just don’t wipe it down very hard. I use microfiber towels (keep them in a container marked “car leather seats ONLY”) and buff the high-wear areas after letting a thick coating soak/sit on the leather for 15-20 minutes. Our one black leather interior looks brand new again and it appears to have made the color better too. I’ve used it on my kids and my own baseball gloves as well. Soaked down a newer baseball glove with it, then stuck 2-baseballs in the glove and wrapped glove with 7-8 heavy rubber bands. Let it sit that way for 3-4 days and buffed up the outer surface to a shine. Pulled rubber bands off, pulled baseballs out and glove is super easy to open and close for trapping baseballs on the move. Great product and price is fair too

best stuff for leather and interior detailing

i use this on leather in my cars and it keeps it from drying out and cracking, keeps it soft and supple. Lexol it the best i have found for sun exposed leather. even use it on interior leather chairs and to clean up work shoes that get abused with chemicals and dirt. nice stuff.

Good .. but might not really be needed.

This is a good leather conditioner. I have a 2015 Honda Accord EXL. I use this all over my leather seats front to back. This does not make it look shiny or slick. It does not leave a greasy feel to the seats at all. I do apply it somewhat thick and really focus on the threading more than anything. The use of a leather conditioner is heavily debated due to just about all leather seats on cars now and for awhile now has a protective coating on them that seals the leather. This means that the leather conditioner isnt really going to get into the leather. However thats why I said I really focus on the threads as those are exposed and will absorb some of the conditioner and prevent cracks from the holes in the leather where the thread is. Thats really about all any leather conditioner is good for ....and the smell as well. Maybe a bit of UV protection too .. but again the coating helps with that and also automotive glass these days to have UV protection in them as well. So you be the judge if you really need this!

Terrible product, may have a shelf life issue!

Bought this about 2 years ago… I use it on the white interior of my cars…. No issues. Then the other day I tried it on my Natuzzi (sp) sofa which is made of premium quality leather in a deep burnt orange! Left an uneven white milky residue coating all over the whole sofa when it dried. Before I applied it, I first cleaned the sofa with Lexol leather cleaner, then waiting for it to dry …then I applied an even thin coating of the Lexol conditioner making sure to not use too much. I then finished it off using a clean buffing microfiber cloth … by the next day BOOM… there was an uneven dry white film everywhere! It looked terrible and faded… luckily it came off using the Lexol cleaner again… this sofa is huge too…too much redundant effort, no thanks Lexol … in the trash it ALL went.

Ruined my $20,000 sofa

Read the reviews and thought this would be a great product for my Roche Bobois leather sofa. Tested in a hidden area an seemed ok. Waited for a week and then did another small area. Still seemed okay. Then did the whole sofa. The sofa dried and then there were some whitish ghostly spots. Thought it would pass. Used the product again and now the whole sofa has this greyish hue. Makes the sofa look old! Now have to call the manufacturer and use their product to get my sofa back to new....I hope. Do NOT recommend this or any of their products.

A leather conditioner that actually works

I've tried a few other brands of leather conditioners and they never seem to work. This product however does what it claims. The head and foot board of the bed are covered in real leather. This is the first product I have found that will actually condition it and make it look like new again. I will continue to use this on all my other leather products in my home and vehicles.

A lot of work. Good for shoes, too much trouble for couches. Manufacturer told me not to put this on couches. Gives Tan and Cognac shoes a nice burnished look.
