Good for stretching
I have a couple of yoga mats. One is a little thinner but I tend to go to this one when I’m stretching, and for certain exercises like ab exercises. We have hardwood floors and it feels a lot more comfortable. I even bought my mom this one and she actually uses it a lot to stretch. However, the thickness of the mat can make it harder to balance in a yoga class depending on the type of yoga, so for those I prefer my slightly thinner mat. I also prefer my thinner mat for the rare occasions when I do workouts/yoga outside (still just better for balance). For everyday household use, I like this thick mat. We have pets, and they’ve walked on the mat creating small gashes/indents with their claws, but it still works fine after several years. For the price it’s a good deal I think.

Thick, comfortable mat!!
So glad I decided to go with this mat because it is absolutely perfect! I have neck and back issues and wanted to start doing yoga and at home workouts in the living room that Is all hardwood floor and this saves my back lol. It also looks and feels very large to me when looking at it from far which Is a plus as I love extra room-but I'm also 5'2 so I'm sure that contributes to me having more space lol Can't go wrong and really love amazon basics for mats going forward. I highly recommend!

My first impression was that it was slightly disappointing.
UPDATE: I've been using it for a while now, and it is comfortable and looks the same as when I first bought it. So I will increase the rating from three stars to four stars. I was just unhappy at first because I thought the indents were permanent, but they aren't. The yoga mat indents really quickly while using it, but then the indents fade away later on. Hell, I'll go ahead and give it a five star rating. My other complaint was that the cut of the mat looked slightly uneven, but I don't even notice that anymore. It looks fully even to me now. Update: It indents really easily while doing simple sitting hamstring stretches, but the indents go away after a while. I have no trouble with it sliding around on the carpet. It stays put. So my only real complaint are the permanent indents that came with the mat and how uneven of a cut it was. This is my first ever yoga mat, and I've only used it for 10 minutes. But my first impression was that I was slightly disappointed. When I unrolled it, the foam felt soft, cheap, and flimsy. But hey, maybe most yoga mats are like that, and it's better than just using rough feeling carpet. I didn't deduct any points for this. My major complaint is how sloppy they cut the yoga mat. It's uneven on two sides. On one narrow end, one corner is half an inch shorter than the other corner! And on one side, the cut starts off flush with one of the ripple lines and then gradually shifts until it is flush against a different ripple line. Major points deducted for the yoga mat not being evenly cut. There are definitely some noticeable indents from the velcro straps that keep the yoga mat in place. The very end of the yoga mat remains curled after you unroll it. I guess for $20, I should be happy to have received a soft, unevenly cut, yoga mat and two blocks. But in the future, if I had to order another yoga mat and I could order one for $30 that includes the mat and two yoga blocks, I'd order the different brand in hopes of getting a better quality and more evenly cut mat. But I wouldn't mind ordering this one again as it is probably good enough. I can't comment on the yoga mat being slippery. I placed it on short carpet and I felt that it was "good enough", but I don't have any real experience with yoga mats, yoga, or stretching. It's okay, I guess. Hence, the average three star rating. I bought this yoga mat because it has 85,000 reviews and altogether the rating was over 4 stars. But it is a slight disappointment.

I love this mat! Very comfortable and easy to fold up and great for Pilates, Yoga, or stretching in general! Comes with a warranty as well! I would buy this again!! Comes in different colors also. I got the gray.

Low-Cost Knee-Saving Option
I live on hard-laminate floors. I have another yoga mat, maybe a little more expensive/higher quality than this one, and it does not save my knees the way this thing does. Sometimes, that extra cushion is what you need, particularly when you're not quite ready to commit to a higher end product. This does come with some gives, though. The extra softness will mean some micro-adjustments when you're moving toward stability, and it doesn't really lie completely flat. It does, however, also travel great. So, if you're just starting out with pilates or yoga, and haven't decided if you're going to stick with it, this is a great buy. Go for it.

Little knicks
Just opened and layed on it, so review is based on no use as of yet. The thickness is good and its comfortable. It is thick enough to feel comfortable kneeling. The length is also good. I'm 5'2 and can fit with extra room. The width is sufficient for my size. I'm 170lbs. Only issue was it had indentations or nicks on part of the mat and it left scent on my hand. Just hoping it keeps its thickness over time.

Great quality, thick and super soft!
The mat looked thicker than expected when I unboxed it, so I was worried it would feel odd under my feet as I worked out. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t bother me at all! Working out on top of the mat was so comfortable and it’s super soft and flexible when you lay on it. My only complaint is that I was expecting it to be a little heavier, so it would lay straight when I unrolled it.

Excellent buy
The yoga mat is nice and thick and it is very soft. It is very light and easy to carry around with the velcro carry straps. The yoga block is soft and sturdy and smooth to the touch. I am very happy with my purchase and can honestly recommend this product.

Affordable, soft, durable, and great support!
I've had this BlanaceFrom yoga mat for 10 days now, using it at least twice a day for extensive abs and yoga exercises. I hav been stepping on it with my sports shoes on my concrete gym floor and so fat no wears or tears. This mat is thick enough that I do not feel the cold concrete floor and provides good support for when I am lying down to do abs or yoga exercises. The deep grooves make the grip perfect! It comes with a very nice strap, but honestly I use the mat so frequently that it is always on the floor for when I am hitting the gym. I also appreciated that it came ready to use, with no chemical odours the kind that many mats or rubbery products come with and take ages to get rid of. I wipe it with mild cleaner after every use and it's ready for the next set of exercise! I recommend it. The mat came fast and neatly packed, and is an awesome addition to my home gym.

Excellent exercise mat at an excellent price point
Decided to buy this mat as I was getting a bit sore from being on the hard floor. I bought this to help with exercises I have started to do for anterior pelvic tilt and sacroiliac joint pain. This mat has been great so far. The thickness of the mat is excellent, and has a sort of "gel" feeling to it, making it much more comfortable. The mat has a good grip to it also so shouldn't move when exercising, I placed it down on a generally slippery floor and tried to get the mat to move around whilst standing up, but was unable to get it to move at all really. The Velcro tie/handle for it is also handy for being able to roll it up nice and quick, as well as carrying and storing it. One thing that would be good to see in a future version for me personally is for it to be just ever so slightly wider, even just 10cm. This may not be for everyone though. Definitely recommend for someone buying their first mat, and for people looking for a nicely padded, inexpensive and grippy exercise mat for the house.
