Beautiful sunflower

Very heavy piece, it's not going to blow over in the wind! The machining was not super fine so screwing the pieces together took a little bit of work, but everything fit. The frogs..not great work, but the flower is really beautiful. The birds and squirrels love to walk around on the petals and then dip in for a drink. The biggest downfall I have found so far is the center holds only 6 cups of water. I wonder how it will be when the weather is hot, hopefully water won't evaporate too quickly.

Beautiful and Substantial! No problems with assembly.

Whatever assembly issues previous purchasers have brought to the manufacturers attention have been addressed. Just test threading the screws in the holes before fastening any of the pieces together. A couple were very tight adjusting by hand, but loosened up once I used an adjustable wrench to tighten them further. The only issue I had were that the screws from the pedastal to the dish are too short to use with the lock washers so I just left them off. As far as the base is concerned, if you set this on a concrete or stone surface it wobbles side to side just a bit. You can add a shim to level it. However, I think this was designed to be placed in the garden, lawn, or on unpaved ground anyway because of the see through gaps in the base design. Since this is so shallow, I’m actually using this in my Butterfly Garden for the butterflies to puddle, filling it partially with sand, water, and a little compost. Look up ‘puddling butterflies’ on YouTube and you’ll see why.

Easy to assemble and better than plastic resin.

Although easy to assemble and overall very nice, the parts in the box were not well secured. The bolt-on butterfly was broken in half and floating around in the box unprotected.

Recently I added some bird feeders to my back yard ...

Recently I added some bird feeders to my back yard patio/porch. The gold finch found the thistle netted bags quickly. I also added bird feeders I bought from Amazon and have a variety of birds. This is a new "hobby" for me and, after viewing many bird baths and reviews, I finally decided on this one because it is metal and I won't have to store it over winter. Also it should not blow over in a strong wind. I'm a 74 year old lady and I put it together myself. Once I got the bolts into the base the rest was easier. I am adding a photo of my new bird bath. "My" birds didn't break it in yet, but I'm sure they will. It is located only a few feet from my feeders. I now have mourning doves, a chipmunk, and one or two squirrels eating the dropped seeds (and those I intentionally place for them). Gosh I am enjoying God's little creatures!

STILL CANNOT MATCH BOTTOM HOLE TO ASSEMBLE 2 MONTHS LATER AND TROUBLE FINDING SOMEONE WHO CAN!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give it a better review because I do love it, bit I cannot get the screw in the bottom to get the base completely on. I've called a few placed to see about making the hole open enough for the screw to go through flush so I can screw it in. It is very heavy and need all three screws. It's beautiful otherwise. So, it's sitting in my living room until I can hopefully get the hole drilled wider so I can use the birdbath. Very disappointed. The manufacturer should make sure everything lines up and has room for all the screws to fit. Too much hassle to return as is so heavy and once out of the box and that's why trying to fix. And, it is pretty. Dang it already. So bummed!!!!!!!!!! ***** 6-7-2017 Still no chance or place found to make hole on bottom larger so can attach to take out side to use. It's sitting in our dining room and now I am furious. This company should make sure it puts together before charging and it's awfully heavy to try to repack and send back. I AM FURIOUS AT SUCH BAD QUALITY. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very attractive but problem fastening bath to base.

This is very pretty. Came well packaged and on time. My only real complaint is that one of the screws that holds the bath to the base will not secure so it is not held in place as securely as it needs to be. We tried using some plumbers tape on the screw but it still wouldn't fasten. Any suggestion for fixing this problem would be appreciated. Otherwise it was easy to assemble, even thought the instructions were just pictorial. If this were not a problem, I would likely give it 5 stars.

but It is nice looking and I like it

As some who ordered this bird bath have already stated, the holes did not line up correctly and some of the screws were stripped . My husband had to pull out his tool kit to put it together so took a little longer than it should have. He isn't thrilled with it, but It is nice looking and I like it. Of course I didn't have to put it together. He told me not to buy anything else made in China that had to be assembled.
