Good but still pretty chewable

I’m having trouble finding durable frisbees for my dog. The real expensive ones are either too heavy or he doesn’t like them. The cheap dog ones are only good for a few through a and they they crack or break. These frisbees are more than adequate and so far he hasn’t destroyed them. They seem deeper than a normal frisbee but it seems to give him more to hold on to when carrying it. I have tried MANY kinds and so far this has been the most durable.

Sturdy and throws smooth and evenly

I got these after my son (age 5) and I cracked an old frisbee I had laying around in the closet. I figured he was at a good age to start playing. When these arrived I noticed immediately that they are designed in a way that allows him to throw it as intended (smooth/even) and more easily than a classic (or perhaps cheap) frisbee. We play all the time now and I'm surprised at how quickly he has picked it up. Also these are very durable. They have hit the driveway concrete and trees repeatedly without any issue.

The middles don’t spin

The middle of the frisbee has some sort of spinning thing I guess To add to the effect of the frisbee but it doesn’t work as they thought it would . I noticed my kids didn’t so that’s why I only Gave 4 stars

Great Frisbees!

Love these! The extra weight make these easier for my 3yo to throw. They don’t go flying in random directions and aren’t blown as far off course when there’s wind. They seem sturdy and heavy duty, but that makes them hurt more if you get whacked with one in the head. Haha. I liked that there were 4 in the pack, so we could leave one a Grandma’s house too.

OK but not great

These frisbees are a good price and durable. But the are heavy and do not soar smooth or go very far.

A Gimmick; Too Heavy; Flies Very Poorly

I ordered several different styles of flying discs for my grandson. This one looks cute with the rotating blades, but the whole thing is too heavy and does not fly well. The air escaping through the top to spin the blades reduces the lift. The plastic material is thick and heavy and was the poorest floater of all the discs that we tried.

Meaty Spinners

A frisbee for me should be formed from a solid piece of plastic that makes it heavy and a weapon if flung too quickly. In recent years there have been other safer options that use fabric instead. I still have a soft spot for the old school plastic frisbees as they are simpler to grab and master. This set from B Toys has four of them and they are great value. The discs look old school, formed plastic and bright colours. The difference is that there is an added spinner element in the centre. This is a pretty feature, but not required. You can't really see it when you throw, and it just adds something that may break. Thankfully, like with all B Toys, these frisbees are incredibly solidly built. You can fling them around the garden to your heart's content and they should stay in one piece for a long time. If you are looking for a set of frisbees that you can hand out to multiple children, then this set is a better standard than the cheap options and are not too expensive themselves.

Good looking frisbees

These frisbees come as a pack of 4. Each is a different colour and they have a centre spinner which is in a different colour to the frisbee so it stands out. The colours are really funky and not just bright primary. They are well made and have a bit of weight to them. There is a bit of a technique to get these to fly, and the centre spinner spins when it is in flight although it is quite difficult to see this. This is a really good value pack and great for summer fun.

Misleading description

These are frisbees with a central spinning section on the top, or at least each one should have a spinning section on top as it is difficult to tell if that engages when you throw it as there is no lighting effect, at least not on the ones I received. The middle section does spin freely when you manually test it before throwing, but you cannot see it when it is in flight as it doesn’t light up as the product description states it will. It is a different colour to the rest of the frisbee, but that appears to be it. I’m not sure of the point of a spinning middle when you can’t actually see it spin. The frisbee isn’t all that easy to use either. I found it quite heavy and, when thrown, it went in a different direction to that I had expected. Maybe I am just a poor thrower, but it did seem that the middle section could be causing an issue with the flight path. That may make things more entertaining in a beach or park setting with loads of space around, but in a small back garden it caused some concern for damaged plants when the frisbee took off in flight to the right, for example, instead of towards the person it was being aimed towards. These feel a bit gimmicky and the spinning middle is a lost feature that has no means of lighting up to help it stand out. As straightforward frisbees, they don’t fly true either.
