Kids love this stuff
Amazon brand was great, similar to the original kinetic sand, but cheaper. My daughter plays with this daily. No weird smell and it provides a ton of entertainment.

Messy but fun
This play sand kit is an interesting product. It comes similar to playdough kits with kinetic sand and small tools for utilizing that sand as if one more at the beach. Unfortunately, the kinetic sand is very messy, even though it keeps together better than ordinary sand. The kinetic sand is also a strong blue color dye which tends to stain if wet. So this is a fun kit to have at home, but be forewarned that the messiness factor is high.

Kinetic sand is a great alternative for sensory out dorrs sandbox play. It molds to almost anything and has a decent hold. Kinetic sand is easy to clean but can get every where. The value for money comes from om th volume sold and there is a lot more than enough for two kids. This is a great set and last long it properly stored to prevent hardening.

A bit messy, but still fun
My biggest concern when getting this play sand and plastic molds was what kind of mess it will make and how difficult will it be to clean up. To my surprise, it wasn’t as bad as I initially thought. The sand is kind of a mix between beach sand and play doh, which means it sticks/clumps together pretty easily… like sticky tak. My daughter had a good time molding the sand along with forming features with the molds. The molds tend to hold together decent due to the sticky texture of the sand and I felt they offered a good variety of molds between the rake, shovel, stamps, and sand castle. Pros: - Sand clumps together, making it less tedious to clean up - Good variety of molds - Enclosed box to hold sand - Resealable bag for sand Cons: - It’s still sand, so cleanup is inevitable - The blue sand will temporarily color your hands blue.

Horrible texture
I have the kinetic sand box and I recently got this cz it was cheap just to add a color. And ewww it’s hard and not that moldable. Kinetic sand should be easy moving. I don’t like this

So much fun!!
This stuff is awesome! It's great for kids to play with. Having it come with sand is awesome! The kids can play with it during the winter, or if they live a thousand miles from the beach. It's a bit messy, but not as bad as I was expecting. The tools that come with it are wonderful. You can take them to an actual beach, and have a great time with real sand, too. They let you make all kinds of shapes, and you can carve with them, rake, dig, make molds, etc. The price is so cheap, even if you only got one weekend's worth of fun out of it, it would be worth it. But this will last a long time!

Very cheap!
Not anything close to Kinetic Sand, it is very much like sand box sand. Very disappointed. The play tools are the only quality thing in the package.
