Difficult to print at first, but figured it out using trial and error

I bought this template to make tags for wedding favors for my daughter's wedding. I initially used Word and created the document using the Avery template 22848. In fact, I created it before the tags arrived so I was ready to print when I got them. Unfortunately, not only did they print incorrectly, they were not aligned properly. As you can see in the second photo, I had to turn the page around to try and print the right way. Even though it printed the right way, the text was too high as the template in Word is simply a rectangle and you can't tell where it's scalloped, plus the whole template was a bit too far to the left. So I had to go to Avery's website and use their template to create it all over again. Using their template was much better because you can see the shape of the tag and you can tell where the text will print. It also has all kinds of cute designs to choose from, but the fonts were limited. Overall, once it was time to print, they came out within the lines and properly aligned. Separating the tags is a little tedious and time consuming, but I'm happy with the final product. I haven't attempted to put the strings through the holes yet, but hopefully that won't be too difficult.

????Hello ???? I bought these to drape around mini champagne bottles for my daughter’s bridal shower. They were very nice, however, I ruined about 4 sheets trying to figure out the correct way to load them into my printer. So finally I labeled the top/bottom/correct side on all the sheets so I wouldn’t be so confused. The labels are small, but a perfect size for the mini bottles.

MANUALLY FEED INTO PRINTER FROM THE BACK

It makes really cool labels, but don't try to feed them in from the tray. I suppose the instructions probably said something about that, but who reads instructions? Once I figured that out, I got to be really creative and made custom personalized Christmas Gift Tags for everyone in our family. With a little experimentation I was able to put different messages and graphics on both the front and the back. Everyone got a kick out of them on Christmas day & I enjoyed making them. The string ties really made them special and easy to read.

Better than a pricing gun!

If you have poor penmanship such as me, these are a gift from heaven. If you know your way around a printer, these tags are great! Avery.com has templates you can make, much like a greeting card program like Printshop. You can easily adapt photos and make a variety of tags even change the prices on the same tag sheet of tags. I am very happy with these tags. It gives a professional and finished look to your products. I print a sheet on plain paper, then figure out the flipping of the page etc, and lay it on top so I can make sure I print them correctly without wasting a page of tags, saving costly mistakes. Print on and hag a tag!

Just what I needed!

I LOVE these tags - they are exactly what I need for pricing the handmade purses I sell locally! On one side I print my business name, and on the other the price and a short description of the item - it did take a bit of fiddling on the Avery website to get the the look and verbiage just right. The nice thing about the Avery design website is it gives you the option to save the finished template page to your computer (vs on their cloud) as a PDF. I saved it to my sewing file and used Foxit Reader (free PDF reader) to print duplex on my inkjet. My printer does duplex automatically, so I'm not handling the paper between first/second side printing and have no problem with the tags falling apart. Caveat: I first printed the tags (duplex) on regular paper and overlaid them on the tag sheet to make sure everything lined up. Glad I did, since there were some adjustments and fine tuning. Bottom line for me is that, since I use them regularly, it was well worth fiddling with the tags a bit at the beginning for the ongoing payoff!

Perfect Lables for our Wedding Party Favors

I love how easy it was to set up this with my HP Tango printer. I was able to create labels to be attached to the wedding party favors with wedding deets. I still have some left over. These labels are good even for labeling other essentials especially if your a entrepreneur. I even was able to add our personal picture. They have a plethora of templates to use. Definitely a good economical way to save in wedding expensive wherever possible.

Super cute, but tricky to get right

They are super cute once you remember (I usually only print a sheet at a time for my small business) the have to go in bottom first to print correctly. It would be so easy for Avery to simply center the template such that they work both directions ????????????????. Once you booger one putting it in the printer following the arrow (why). Then turning it 180 bottom first. Ugh. Anyway, I’m going to try another style and see if it’s better. They really are cute and well perforated. Waisting them is annoying.

Faulty Batch Not Usable

The perforation was in the wrong place making the labels lop-sided (right). Not a very neat tear either. Could not use them and had to return them.

A little hard to work with...

Good, not great. Printing was easy, easier than most Avery products, but getting the tags separated was a long process. The hole on the tag isn't already punched out so I had to sit there and force out the paper with a bunch of tags. Kind of a waste of time. If someone is buying this product, it's pretty obvious they want the hole punched out - you might as well do it all the way.

Terrible product!

I ordered these to use for little tags on our wedding favours and unfortunately half the sheets completely fell apart in the printer. Now I don't have enough to actually use as tags so I will have to order some more. It took me over an hour to print 50ish tags (which is only half of what i need). Terrible terrible product, would definitely not recommend!

Difficulty in using provided Word models

Problems with Word models, it won't print exactely where you need it. So after many tweakings and numerous lost pages, I managed to set the logo in the center, printed all of the pages and then we use the best hand writer in the office to add prices. And let say : I'm a power user in terms of using Office. I won't purchase again unless they come up with a new "easy to use" model.

All in one

So easy, go into Avery website, select product number and many designs to choose from. Many categories to select on website, birthday, religious, thank you etc. Just print and snap out. So easy. Love that it prints on both sides for a complete look.
