Great Jacket - Especially if you ever fly a crappy airline... basically, any domestic airline.

I recently bought this jacket and I love it. I already have far too many jackets but I figured with the good price, why not? (this also meant that if I decided to keep this jacket, I had to donate one of my older jackets). I also like the Spyder brand. Spyders always fit snug and the material is durable and comfortable (be aware however that they do fit very slim, and if you're the type of person that only likes to wear loose-fitting outerwear, this jacket is NOT for you unless you got 2 sizes bigger than your normal size). This jacket has quickly become my go-to for everyday wear. Here are the pros and cons and what you should know about this jacket: Pros: 1.) It's long and covers my entire upper body and down past the bum. (No, I'm not British, I said "bum" because I have a little kid and that's how I refer to my ass now.) 2.) The material is light-weight. It often feels like I'm not really wearing any jacket. I rode on a plane wearing it the entire flight (2 hours). I normally HAVE to take off an outer garment when I fly because I feel too crowded and get too uncomfortable. This helps out IMMENSELY when you fly American Airlines and they blast the air-conditioning on a 32 degree winter day and then refuse to give you a blanket because, "I'm sorry, we reserve those only for first-class passengers and you're in coach." Which means that to enjoy an American Airline flight I have to marry a sugar daddy who can pay first-class air everywhere I go, or this coat. (I opted for the coat rather than a pre-nup.) 3.) The sleeves are my favorite part: they are full length with thumb holes, so there is NO cold air coming up through the sleeves. 4.) Comes with a hood, which is awesome because it can cover my ears when they get too cold and prevent me from listening to the American Airlines flight attendant remind me again how I don't deserve a blanket because I'm not sitting in First Class. 5.) It looks really good and expensive. I went out with a friend of mine who had on a Burberry jacket that looked similar, and you really couldn't tell the difference in the brands (except for the reflective Spyder logo). She is the type of person who could afford First Class... obviously. 6.) It fits nice and snug, like a warm hug I'd get from a flight attendant on a foreign airline, like Qatar Air or Singapore. Cons: 1.) It fits snug. I am a 5'0" and 105 lbs and the size Medium was snug on me with room for comfortable movement. I bought a size small for my cousin who is 5'4 and 90 lbs and it seems to fit her just right. 2.) It doesn't seem very waterproof. 3.) It is pretty thin. This is not a jacket you would wear in the coldest of Boston winters. I wore it in 40 degree weather and it wasn't too bad. I could feel some chill, but it was bearable (which is a lot coming from me since I'm always cold.... have you figured that out yet?) What you should know: 1.) If you're unsure about your size, order a size larger. 2.) I loved this jacket so much I bought two more in different colors, which meant I had to give up two other precious jackets. But these really are very comfortable and look very nice. 3.) They are pretty high quality. Even though I fly in the cattle car of an airplane, I still like to look good, and these do look very good. And the black is super slimming. 4.) This jacket is ideal for early- to mid-fall and early- to mid-spring. Temperatures around 40 degrees are bearable, but I would go too much less than that.

Runs small in waist but good value for $

So I bought this coat for $50 so there's no room to complain. But for those paying more it is snug in the hip region. I bought a large and I'm a 32 waist and it just fit. Normally a large is roomy on me and I can just zip this one. The shoulder area is nice and not snug but fits more like a medium. It doesnt look weird just a little snug. Very warm and has a nice phone pocket inside they did not mention.

It runs very small, but the quality is excellent if it fits you

The cutting and workmanship of this jacket is great. The spyder logo is at the bottom of the jacket, so it is good for lady who doesn't want a big spider on her upper chest. It runs small, my sister usually wears size small for all of her jackets and she feels comfortable, but this jacket in small is quite small. I purchased it for her when it was on sales, and it was way below store price, so I got a great deal for the quality and design. It is also easy to maintain. Machine washed a few times and it held up well.

Cozy!

I love how lightweight this coat is! It blocks the wind, and the down in it makes it warm. It also has different material at the sleeves with thumb holes to keep the warmth in! I probably won’t buy anything different from now on. This is my first puffer coat! I do believe it fits small. I went up a size and it fits perfect. Usually wear a medium but ordered a large.

Great stylish puffer jacket

Due to the reviews, I ordered both a size small and medium to try. I am 5'6", 127lbs and usually wear a small in most brands. The small is fine and met my expectations for a fitted jacket. I like the look of it a lot. The medium is roomier and certainly looks baggier. The jacket is just long enough to cover my entire backside. The quality of the jacket is phenomenal. It is extremely warm, but I've only tried it in a SoCal "winter". My recommendation is to size up if you plan on wearing an additional sweater under or if you have broader shoulders/large bust. If you plan on wearing just a shirt or similar, your regular size should work. I haven't decided which size to keep yet, I might keep both!

Warm, lightweight jacket!

This jacket is perfect. It’s amazingly light weight but also efficiently warm and cozy! The sleeves are plenty long enough (which I often have trouble with), and the jacket covers a few inches past my bottom— which I love. The hood has a generous amount of room (!!), and the shape/form hugs your curves! Very happy with this purchase, would recommend.

Will make your "Spyder" senses tingle

I love this ???? jacket. I am 5'4 and 150lb. I purchased a large. It has a great look and is super light weight. I live in the Midwest and winters can be very windy and cold. This light weight jacket handles the weather like a champ. It has a great fit, not bulky and the material fills nice. It keeps me warm. The price was amazing and delivery was quick. I've received several compliments. Happy with my purchase.

Yooper Girl tried and true for below zero !!

This jacket is THE best I have ever had. It’s not bulky, it’s warm, and it has the athletic thumb holes at the wrists (idk what they’re really called) I’m not one to write a review but this jacket made me! Yes, you can consider sizing small depending on how form fitting you like. I got Medium which fits great but not much room, but I didn’t buy it to layer and nor do you need too. I would still suggest sizing up!

Jacket very nice but doesn’t fit? We already had a similar Spyder jacket size M, but the new one size Mis either XS or S Half the cost was delivery and import fees so wasn’t worth sending it back Shame

Falta guía de talla

Muy buena calidad y modelo; aunque basándome en los reviews compré talla mas grande y me quedó ENORME. Debería de haber una guía de tallas con medidas; serias de más utilidad. Tuve que devolverla.
