Shocked at how great it works!

I figured I would give this a try with low expectations. I was shocked when I used it on an old tank with tons of junk stuck to the glass and I sprayed it down and let it sit and almost all of it came off! Then I spray some on a towel and tried it along the water line of tanks I had set up and it worked better then anything I have tried before and it’s safe for the fish. The easiest way to use it inside a tank I have found was when you are doing water changes. That way the water line is lower and it’s easier to clean where the waterline usually is before you add fresh water.

Reapply often. Hard to get water stains off on general.

Had to spray a lot of this onto the glass for it to remove stains. Ugh.

Completely blown away by how effective this product is.

Bought this on a whim, between 2 tanks one is highly maintained, the other had mineral deposits on the glass lid that were pretty bad off. Used 2 times on each tank. My heavily maintained show tank has actually got squeaky clean glass (literally squeaks when wiped with dry towel), all the mineral deposits are gone from the other. I have only used microfiber cloths to clean both glass. Will never use another product for my show tank again.

For Someone Hard to Impress, I'm Impressed.

Wonderful! I thought that the hard water stains mottling the glass of my tank and filters was never going to come off! The only piece of equipment that it didn't clean as well as I had anticipated was the submersible heater, but I think restoring that thing to its former glory is a lost cause. The glass looks great, the tank hood is back to being just black instead of grey, the filters look brand new, and the fish haven't been impacted in the slightest. I was hesitant to spend the couple bucks on this, but I'm truly glad I did. This is a product I envision having underneath my aquariums at all times, as the results this little bottle have produced are quite wonderful. If you're like me, and your aquarium is not only your pride and joy, but something you will be showing off to friends and family, I would recommend this to clean. My fiancee can be a little hard to impress (she loves the fish, but they don't consume her life like they do mine), but even she commented on how clean the tank exterior looked. A happy life is a happy wife!

Excellent (and safe) way to keep your aquarium glass clean!

As a long-time aquarium hobbyist, I've used just about everything under the sun to keep the aquarium glass squeaky-clean. In any other application, Windex would work just fine, however I wanted to use something that was safe for my animals. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Safe & Easy cleaner from API removes dried saltwater, fingerprints and dust from the aquarium surface using just a small amount of spray. Additionally, it seems to create more of a smooth surface; I noticed that after using this product, my magnetic algae magnet (MagFloat) glides with ease across the glass which is always a bonus! The only reason why I gave this 4/5 stars was because though the product came in a sealed bag, about 10% of the liquid leaked out during shipping transit and I had to rinse it off before using. All in all, a great product to keep your aquarium looking great! :)

had little to no affect on lime deposits/stains

didnt work at all, i wasted a lot of time effort and money trying to make this work drained part of my aquarium to reveal the nasty built up lime deposits, sprayed this on some paper towels and adhered them to the inside glass to try and avoid getting any in the water (even though it does say it is safe) i left it for 10-15 minutes because the stains were quite heavy. After removing the paper towels, giving a quick scrub over and removing the residue to my surprise there were the stains, as clear as ever. just as they were at the start. quite disappointed because i wanted to get rid of the stains which take away from the nice looks of my aquarium, ive tried everything and nothing has worked. 1 star for all the time i wasted, and for the product not working, i was going to give it 2 seeing as though it seems to have worked for other people, but then this is my personal review so 1 stars total!

Works fine

Works fine on my two glass aquariums not sure if I'd use it on the inside of my tanks tho. A little spray goes along way too really pleased with this product from ApI. I did have a small dent in the bottle but luckily for me no leaks.
