Mediocre.
It works better after 5pm in my area I will get my CW after 5pm until 9am next day along with other channels. I get about 70 channels the higher up channels after #30 is when it dies out at 9am and get them back at 5pm. I have used steaming TV subscriptions since 2016 and the prices just keeps increasing it's just crazy. Finding the right antenna is a challenge especially indoor as for me don't have the ability to install one outdoors. I live about 20 miles from any tower. I get a decent amount of channels ABC,CBS, FOX NBC, CW at certain time with others. I picked this because the Antenna Man on YouTube suggested it as it was the only one that actually had a decent coax cable. It does but it could be better it does have a bit of pixelation at times sometimes I have to fuss with getting the antenna in a good direction. But it's still a great antenna if you don't live to far from towers and flat area. I would recommend it. I also purchase another antenna Antop brand to see if theres a difference. But overall not a bad RCA antenna I would get it if you want a cheap antenna for locals and a few others if you can get them. Give it a try if you don't like you have 30 days to return it. Update returned this for ANTOP Antenna AT-405BV such a better antenna and get everything channel I was looking for and more.

The best. All features you need today.
1) Has both UHF (square plate) and VHF (extendable rabbit ears), since local stations may be in the VHF channels 2-13. 2) Has very STRONG signal amplifier of 55 db, to boost reception. 3) Filters built-in, to filter out interference from 4g & 5g phones, nearby the UHF bands. This all-in-one unit replaced my separate 2 antennas, amplifier, filters; great 40 mile reception, even thru condo walls & cement exterior. Best to extend the VHF dipoles to near 27” total. UHF is very directional. Instructions on how to locate your nearby TV towers included. Mounted atop/behind flat screen TV in pic.

It works as well as I hoped
I have two dislikes and they are both design-related: 1) because both of the "ears" are behind the fixed upright portion the largest angle you can get between the two is 90 degrees. They can both stand upright or hinge toward the back. Neither of them can hinge toward the front. 2) the coax cable is fixed to the antenna and is relatively short. I couldn't just screw a longer cable into the back of it. I had to get a connector and add a second cable. That being said, it's small but mighty. My place is in a major city but on the second floor of a large concrete 40-unit building and back up to a steep hill. If I keep it on the windowsill I get every channel I was hoping for. If I move it out of the window though I lose two of the channels. I would definitely buy it again. There is a switch that is either "AMP" or "By-pass." I've only used it on "AMP."

Good Value
It's a nice antenna for the price and it gets both UHF and VHF pretty good. If you dont have much between you and the signal, I recommend it.

It claims a 40 mile range and it delivers
I can't believe how many indoor antennas make ridiculous claims about range that cannot be achieved with physics and electronics. Or they promise you that their magic antenna will bring you premium pay channels. This pretty humble antenna was reviewed by the "Antenna Man" on YouTube. He's a knowledgeable and straightforward source of information on both indoor and outdoor antennas. He makes it clear that the best signal is always obtained by getting up as high as you can. And he keeps modest expectations for indoor antennas by comparison. I already had a flat UHF antenna and a very simple rabbit ear unit for VHF. (Puny would be a better description.) I used an antenna combiner to feed them both. This allowed me to angle each antenna with the hopes of getting the best possible reception for both ranges. I used rabbitears.info, providing my address and got a listing of stations and their tower locations. I live in a single level town home in Las Vegas roughly 22 miles from the towers. Outdoor antennas are discouraged but not prohibited. I wanted a simple solution for feeding my Amazon Fire TV Recast Tuner/DVR. This RCA antenna provides both UHF and VHF elements. The Antenna Man was impressed with the VHF signal sensitivity and that was what I desperately needed. He points out that VHF is harder to broadcast. And that this RCA antenna provided the best VHF results among the many indoor antennas he's tested over the years. The Fire TV Recast has pretty finicky tuners compared to most TV sets and I was having a hard time pulling in our CBS station with my puny rabbit ears. I had to patiently try various angles and locations, staying close to a window. I was able to swivel the VHF antenna elements many different ways-- a strong point. Also this antenna has longer elements than most inexpensive rabbit ears. (Bear in mind though: some stations work better by reducing the length of the elements-- you have to test!) I am thrilled that I was able to pull in all the network affiliates (CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and Fox). Across VHF and UHF bands. Also a bunch of indy stations with vintage sitcoms and game shows. All of this while keeping the antenna in one location and without having to reposition anything when changing stations. I don't think the built-in amplifier made a significant difference. But evidently you MUST plug in the power supply EVEN IF YOU DECIDE YOU DON'T NEED THE AMP. I am happy to say that this antenna met my needs. But if you're in a rural area distant from the broadcasting towers this is not likely to solve your reception problems. I suspect that for homes 40 miles from the towers, this antenna will provide only marginal results. But if you're in a core metropolitan location with decent line of sight to the towers and you have some VHF stations, this antenna may be a good choice for you too.

Could only get 1 channel and even then the signal was very weak
My other indoor antenna can easily get a dozen channels, and if I place it right even more. This antenna couldn't even get one stable channel no matter where or how I positioned it. Most of the time it was completely black. Every once in a while it would get just enough signal to get some kind of picture for a second or so and then go black again. Completely unusable. And that was with the amplifier turned on, without it there was absolutely nothing. The price was great but from what I can tell you have to be pretty much next door to the broadcasting towers.

Clear picture
I use to have the same model but refurbished until the store selling it run out. The one that I bought from Amazon is a newer model. All around adequate despite the fact I live in a concrete building north side when most american networks are on the south side yet I am to receive. The problem with digital reception versus analog is that there should be no blockage such as trees hills, mountains otherwise the signal is lost. Constant changes of antenna locations in order to get best receptions.

Makes Great FM Antenna
I bought this to use as an FM Antenna as recommended by many sources on the internet. It acts as a dipole FM antenna to pull in more FM stations with better reception and less noise. It works fabulous connected to the 75 ohm coaxial antenna connection on my older Sony A/V Receiver (tuner).

One of the best decisions I have ever made.
I tried out three different antennas, this was the only one I simply fell in love with. It reminds me so much of when I was a child and we had six channels, now I have twelve! Still the free tv alone is worth the $35 one-time purchase, and the fact that the reception is better than FibeTV or cable. I am certain, however, that living in a sky-rise apartment building in northern Ottawa helps, and I am sorry for those who don't get as good a reception from the antenna as I. That said, I hope to keep my antenna for many, many years to come.

Facil de instalar, mejoro la calidad de imagen y hasta detecto canales que no se veian con otra antena, dependiendo de su ubicación en la ciudad quiza no ocupen conectarla a la luz, traten de colocarla cerca de una ventana.
