I can't believe this brush!!

I really wanted the Madan pin brush but was worried about a few of the reviews so thought I would give this one a try. I have two male yorkies. They have long coats but one hates to be brushed. He is the eldest but his hair is not as thick. A groomer recommended a slicker brush so I bought that. Noticed they both flinched the last few times I used it plus it pricked my hand and fingers. After a load of research this is the one I chose. Tried it out with them both tonight and both enjoyed it very much. Maybe later I will purchase the Chris Christensen wooden pin brush but hopefully this will last a long time. I bought the medium pin and glad I did not get a smaller one. Very comfortable in my hand too. I am very pleased with my choice!

Decent……BUT

This tool is well made and if someone likes how it works, seems like it will last a long time. Teeth are long enough, handle is comfortable in the hand, cushion is just right. I have two issues with it that make it a disappointment for my purposes. One is that the teeth are spaced so closely together that it is hard to get through the hair of a thickly coated dog. The second issue is that the tips are not rounded enough and it feels sharp against the skin. When I tried it out across the skin of my arm is scratched my skin. Dog's not that keen on the idea either. I bought it specifically for brushing out the longer furnishings on my Giant Schnauzer before she comes into the house after playing outside. Want to brush out loose grass, pebbles, and any possible roaming ticks and insects before they get transported into my house. This brush does not fit the bill. It gets stuck in her hair rather than brushing it out.

Fantastic Brush, Especially for Long Thick Haired Dogs

We have two soft coated Wheaten Terriers who have long 'hair' (not to be confused with fur) and a thick undercoat that is like cotton batting or polyfill. I have experimented with a few brushes, and more expensive brushes. They all fall apart, their pins come out or get depressed, or the base holding the pins comes out of the main body of the brush. The Andis brush is high quality and durable. Super for getting through my dog's fur and making it beautiful without a ton of work. I highly recommend this brush if you need something that is deep and good for thick fur. I also highly recommend a 'v' rake for pulling matts.

Sturdy, Versatile, And Good for Every Day

I have a Pomeranian, and Lord knows he needs brushy brush every day. I've had this brush since I got him 2 years ago, and it's still in great shape! Between this and his comb, I know which one he far prefers (this thing), and it gets him looking nice and floofy.

Great affordable option for drop coated dogs

Good value for the price. Definitely better than low end brushes, but not $50 like really high end brushes.

Smashing size for Large long coated dogs, it works well and It quality made. NICE

Smashing for our 2 Newfoundland's and does not dig in to skin, start light and work in to the coat as it gives way, then run over with a metal comb. As its so easy you can just give them more quick brushes until you have time for a longer groom, but you won't have the knots to deal with. Keeps them looking good ..... little and often is better for you, and Fido does not get fed up too soon. No bristles missing after use and plenty of give.

I love it it is great on my dogs long thick ...

I have been searching for a brush suitable for my beard collie for a while now, and none have really done the job, except for this one! I love it it is great on my dogs long thick coat. It has kept its pins and great value for money. I have been thinking about ordering another just in case I lose this one.

Disappointed

Bought this to use as a spare brush for my bearded collie(read a good review from a beardie owner) and I have been very pleased with the black Andis pet pin brush but very disappointed with this green one as on the third use one of the pins came out.

Best Ever

I have purchased so many brushes for my Cavachon and he has been a nightmare to brush . He loves this one and so do I . He now let’s me brush him every morning and we have no more problems with him trying to run away . His fur is now tangle free and soft ???? WE BOTH LOVE IT ????

Amazing

This brush is amazing at grooming my puppy. I can’t recommeny it enough. My puppy is happy using this brush and can’t stand other brushes. I have a bichon frise puppy. He coat becomes smooth and easy to manage.
