Side by Side comparison for Dreadlocks.
I have had both kinds of these dryers. The kind in which the hose stores compressed in the side of the machine. (linked) and this kind (with the top door access) Old machine pos and neg: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075CQG664/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews Pos: higher heat(faster drying) never powered down or overheated Neg: higher heat (bad for hair) the high heat setting melted the adhesive on the piece that attaches to the bonnet making it very difficult to use over time the hose fell out of the machine over time. Over time this became impossible to store back into the machine. New Machine (the product you are on) Neg: slow to dry (took 3, almost 4 hours on my long locks even after using a microfiber drying turban) Powers down if you use the high heat setting for around 3-5 minutes. (more of annoying, why have the feature if it doesn't work) Pos: slow to dry(better for hair) storage seems like it will last longer due to it being less aggressive on the parts to store them. Even though it takes around 3-4 hours to dry my hip-long-locks and I can only use the low-heat setting... I think I am going to prefer this dryer. Washing dreads always is an all-day event. I know I can depend on the storage system to keep my dryer in good shape over the years. I will post an update when/if needed.

Dry case needs work
Hair dry very easy to use but after use it would not close back in the case all the way

Great product for price
Nice product for portable at home dryer needs, bonnet have been a little more versatile for hair types like rollers sets etc. Over all gets the job done easy to move around.

The unit shut off while running and never came back on. Bought in nov 22. Used almost daily
I am going to buy another one. The unit I had didn't have a cool setting and from day 1 the noise it made wasn't smooth like the one in the first review. Was easy to back up and go.

Temperature is great
I used this on one of my clients who I travel to their home. I love using my hand held dryer because it’s faster, but I really love the temperature on it. You have to set your own timer but it’s worth it????

Very good!
I love this. Now previous reviews says it's too much air. But I like it because I wanted hot air for deep conditioning and hot oil treatments. This was perfect. It is sorta loud, but it is a hair dryer so... but overall this item is good, I love it.
