Well made and great for play

Wood blocks arrived well packaged. We have had them for several months now and two young kids play with them a lot; they have held up wonderfully. The blocks are very durable and well made. I have not found any rough spots or edges that kids could hurt themselves on. The blocks seem precisely made and work well for all types of imaginative play. I got them on sale for $100 and think they are well worth the price.

Mostly nice, a few gouges in some of the blocks

We've only had these for about 24hrs as they were a Christmas gift for my son, so I can't speak to how well they hold up/durability. However, I did notice a few of the blocks arrived with a few gouges already in them, kinda disappointing and makes me question the durability and how well it will hold up over time..aside from that, the wood is smooth and has a nice finish (I think?) on it. I think my 3 year old is really going to enjoy creative/imaginative play with these blocks.

Versatile, open-ended play materials!

I’ve been wanting to get this set for two years. Glad we finally did! Good quality, sturdy. I’m 160 lb and can stand on the smallest piece - no problem. These are great open-ended blocks that can be used in so many ways. My son is turning 4 soon and the first day he built a police station, the next day we did an obstacle course, another day we built table and chairs and had snacks. Some days it’s just a pile of wooden 3D shapes. Great thing is that this “ toy” can grow with the child for many years. My adult brain sees many pretty shelves, I might utilize them as such some day when we are done playing with it.

Great quality

I don’t typically write reviews, however I’m more than impressed with these blocks! I actually bought these because the ones I wanted were out of stock however I’m soooo happy these are the ones I got. They’re packaged really well, they’re smooth so no splinters happen, & they’re very sturdy. And theyre a lot bigger/ a lot more than I expected. These are going to make my 4 year old very happy for Christmas!

There is several large pieces

My grandchildren play all the time making ramps or doll house they do jumps or build the blocks as high as they can it’s fun watching them lots of fun for them

They’re expensive for a reason.

They’re huge. They’re light weight but also sturdy. If used on carpet or a rug, they can be used for an obstacle course. My kids build ramps for cars, houses for fairies/ Playmobil figures/ animals & make furniture for their houses (made with Nugget Couches). I hesitated to buy these because they’re ridiculously expensive, I understand why and everything, but I’m glad I just went for it. My 5&3 year olds could have been playing with these for the past couple of years and will continue playing for several more. They’re great for a huge age group. And me. I like them, too.

A crack upon opening

My first impression was that these blocks aren't going to last after seeing a crack on one of them immediately after opening. Some have a dented pattern as well. I'm not returning because I love the idea and think my son will love them as a Christmas present. Also, it will be a pain to return. The box is crazy heavy. I'm hoping Amazon can send the one block. March 17: found a sharp screw on the floor and an empty matching screw whole in one of boards

Beautiful but hazard

I bought these for my daycare. These blocks are beautiful and are a nice addition to my classroom. Upon opening the box there was a broken, cracked block. My only option is to return ALL of the blocks which is quite a hassle for me as they are big and all together in a box they are heavy. I wish Amazon was able to send me just the one big block that I require. Otherwise, these blocks are so nice and I would buy them again for the other 4 classrooms in the centre but do not want to in case there is a broken, unsafe block in each box.

Expensive and build quality is questionable but a fun set for kids while they're still safe to use

Bought these for use in a daycare. They don't feel like they'll hold up long-term which means we won't be able to keep them in the classroom if there's any chance they could cause injury. Large and pleasant looking set with lots of fun pieces for creative play but overall not impressed with the quality considering the price.

Love it!

I was nervous to buy these cause of the bad reviews but ours came intact (no chips or flaws) and seem super sturdy so far. My 20 month old loves to build garages and use them as car ramps and also walk on the pieces up and down. Wouldn’t be safe for walking on stacked pieces (they don’t have any grip)

Slippery

They would be great if they weren’t so slippy on our vinyl floor. I think of you glued some rubber to the bottom they would great. However they are built really well. Maybe better for carpet?
