Great cheap alternative to Knipex

Now if you really really had to put some torque on these you can strip the teeth slightly but these hold onto whatever I put them on pretty well for the price , these aren’t Knipex so don’t expect them to be stupid strong

Got 3 for the price of one. I don't use it often, but it's a nice tool to have at home. I only need one, but I got three for the same money.

Surprised how great it is compared to the old craftsman and even kinpex This tool is solid and durable works great for electrical work, skinny enough to hold strut strap nuts in tight places.

Grip fine but cutters are a joke!

All three pliers sets grip fine but I find needle nose locking pliers to be the most versatile. That said, the cutters on them are a big joke. They don't cut. It is like they were put there accidentally.

Best knipex knockoff on the market

These are awesome! Bought a set for work and at home. The knipex version of these are $339 I’m a heavy equipment mechanic and I use these everyday two months so far and going strong

Review for Amazon Basics 5-Piece CR-V Locking Pliers SetAmazon Basics 5-Piece CR-V Locking Pliers Set. Part of the Amazon basics range, this being a 5 piece set of locking pliers. Made from good quality CRV, very useful for holding and clamping purposes. Can't comment on value as no published selling price at time of review. Solidly built and different sized pliers for all occasions. These are such versatile sets of pliers, learn to use them effectively and your toolbox will always have one in them.

Nice set of adjustable pliers - good size range

Summary This set of three adjustable pliers are great for the amateur plumber as they fit sink pipes perfectly. Button To change the position of one of the jaws, you simply have to press the button within the joint and slide the lower jaw up and down to the required width. I found this easy to do and quick to adjust.

Solid locking pliers

The pack comes with three pliers of different sizes. They are all locking pliers that are perfect for temporary hold things together. Unlocking is through pressing the internal latch inside the handle. There is a turning screw on each plier allows you to adjust how wide the plier opens. These pliers are solidly made in zinc coated metal, feels heavy duty and durable. The motion is smooth but not very neat. They are of decent quality and will do the job well.

Decent general purpose set of mixed pliers in a sort case.

This is a really handy set of 5 different pliers for different jobs you might have. Supplied in a handy zip up case to keep them all together. Water pump pliers, (soft grip handles) General pliers, (soft grip handles) Adjustable pliers or wrench for nuts & bolts Locking pliers or mole grips, Pair of wire cutting pliers also with plastic covered handles. Just tried the locking pliers out on some rusted screws that were missing the heads, locked on securely & removed the screw body easily. So if you're looking for a general set of these, this may be it. No pricing info yet so from that aspect I'm unable to comment on value for money. Hopefully this review helps your decision. Good quality and seems sturdy

This Amazon basics 3 Piece (7-Inch,10-Inch and 12-Inch) Groove Joint Plier set appears well made and sturdy. They are drop forged, which adds more durability. The maximum width between the jaws when open is : 7-Inch---- Approx 72mm 10-Inch---- Approx 83mm 12-Inch---- Approx 111mm I have been using these now and then for DIY purposes, and I found the push-lock button is smooth, quick and easy to adjust the size and does a good job. It doesn't slip out of position even when I apply maximum pressure; more productive and not annoying than my old plier. The jaws have a good grip too, doesn't let the things slip out. Also, the handle has a comfortable grip as well. Overall, I don't have any issue so far; it appears to be of decent quality and does a good job. The price is currently not available, so I am not sure if this is worth value for money but worth trying. I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.
