Small but functional
I don’t normally write reviews but I stressed over this decision and was pleasantly surprised. Needed it to fit in a 31” space and hold up to 250 lbs while looking nice/ not chintzy. The material is sturdy. The finish is very nice. It was easy to put together alone and arrived really well packaged. I especially appreciated the styrofoam dividers that were wrapped in plastic. So the styro didn’t break apart all over my living room and I was able to use it underneath the parts while assembling to assist me keeping things even and not scratch the finish or my floors. Finished product obviously holds quite a few pairs of adult shoes comfortably (women’s converse sneakers mostly, that helps). The shoe tiers are a bit low but a pair of ankle boots made it once I got them under the seat. And it’s a little less wide than I’d like but that left just enough room for the golf umbrella and my rain boots on the side, so that works. Perhaps the picture will help you estimate the dimensions of the bench in situ After ordering I was concerned about the width of the seat but that is adequate for purpose. Another reviewer mentioned wood glue to really stabilize it. I will be doing that once I get some. The bench is adequate with just the hardware but why not make double-sure? Overall if you need a shoe bench for a small area, and don’t want a wire or modernist style, this works quite well

Perfect for a small area
I have a small entryway/foyer and have been looking tirelessly for a storage/drop zone remedy and didn’t break the band as my family has grown. This was easy to put together and is just big enough to fit 2 bags on top and several shoes on the shelves below. Some reviews said they didn’t like the hardware showing and the stickers to cover them, however I don’t mind this. It’s just in our entryway to drop our stuff. Personally, I can’t really tell unless I look hard at it. This is stable enough to fit our needs and I’m loving that this has helped with clutter and bags/ shoes thrown around the house.

stylish and sturdy
Loved it! It is very sturdy and easy to assemble. Not very large so dont take so much space. Good for apartments/small spaces

It’s tiny. But solid.
It holds about four pairs of adult shoes. It’s very lightweight and tends to move around a little when you sit on it or get up… But it seems very sturdy otherwise.

Exactly what I needed.
I'm a moron so I can't put simple things together, but by the time my sil came over he put it together in 10 to 15 minutes. It's perfect because I put my shoes on the two shelves and the small TV on the top shelf for my small space.

Shelves are narrow 7"
The shelves are sturdy and the paint job is good. It is not German engineering but will do for a closet. Assembly is easy but there are 2 types of screws, use the long ones with smaller heads for the shelves, and the bigger ones to secure the top. I had one sticker missing to cover the screws. Also, the stickers are a darker gray than the paint. In the picture showing a women's size 9 sneakers, these benches are really not for shoes.

Add Wood Glue for sturdiness
If you want this to be sturdy, make sure to apply wood glue. I originally put it together and it was wiggly on use (got it so guests could have somewhere to take shoes on an off, but fit my limited space), so took it apart and applied glue as I reassembled it. It’s been fine since, and fits my needs.

Pretty sturdy, easy assembly, looks cheap
Assembly is very easy, it took me about 10 minutes by myself. It holds six pairs of shoes on the shelf, and then I keep my work bag on the top. It works fine for the intended purpose. Note that the design means there will be exposed screw holes, and their solution is to give you stickers to put over the holes that only vaguely match the color. I'd say this is a step below Ikea quality but at the same price point.
