Too small, rides up, hair got wet
I can only assume these were made for children... LOL. They are so tight on my head it hurts, and they aren't even effective. They immediately ride up and painfully pull my hair. I constantly had to tug this thing down, and it didn't even work. My hair still got soaked, even when I was holding it in place on my skin to test it out. I could feel the water seeping in. My hair was so wet it was like I had nothing on it. I checked and there were no holes, it's just a bad seal because it's too tight and moves too much.

Like wearing a girdle on your head
This cap appears to be well made. I returned it immediately after trying it on. It is very tight and squeezes the head in an extremely uncomfortable way. It was hard to get my hair into it, it was so tight. Can't speak about how dry it keeps your hair because I could not stand the pressure on my head.

Amazon Basics Wrinkle Free Silicone Unisex Swim Caps
I’m a regular lap swimmer for years and have tried a whole lot of swim caps. My latest buy was 40 Sporti silicone caps from swimoutlet. Since I swim so often, that quantity makes sense, especially now since prices have gone way up this year. They were just $2.38 @, but are now double that. This one by Amazon Basics is four times that. These Amazon Basics swim caps (black and blue) look to be well made and should last for several swim sessions or more, depending on how they are handled prior to and post-swimming treatment. The first one I tried lasted about one month or so, that’s using it every other day for one hour. Compared to my other swim caps, that is exceptional durability and longevity. Kudos to Amazon Basics! I too, thought that these had a “balloon-like” feel, but much, much thicker. Kind of rubbery. I honestly didn’t know what to expect and they are quite different from my Sporti silicone caps from swimoutlet. I would caution you from never buying latex swim caps. They don’t last long at all. We’re talking maybe 2 hours. Cheap and OK for one-time use. I like to try to get two weeks out of my silicone caps and I sometimes get more than that before they are too floppy and weak. I used the blue one tonight and it went on well and stayed on, mostly. Near the end of the hour I was pulling it down in the back some. I wear ear plugs too, but didn’t feel any water enter the ear canal area. Which was a good sign, but this was just the first time use. Each time, they stretch a little more. My hair got wet, but for me, that’s expected. I’m an older man, have a big head, bald on top with short hair and a pony tail. I also have a short beard. I keep the beard short and it does help to stop water. I shave my neck below the hairline as well for best adhesion. I also shampoo my hair prior to swimming and dry it (some, but not 100%). I’ve found doing those things helps to keep swim caps on my head and provides the best seal. I do like my hair to get wet with fresh water first, to absorb that water, rather than absorbing the pools chlorinated water. But drying it some, along with the neck and face is necessary for it to really stay put and create a good seal. Each person is different and YMMV. I try not to stretch the cap any extra than necessary and always rinse it out after using, then dry it with a towel. I’ll continue using this for my regular lap swimming sessions. Recommended!

Exactly what you'd expect
Decent swimming cap, that will come in handy for those trips abroad where hotels and camp sites insist on them. Packs small, is waterproof. Not much else I can say!

Nice sized silicone swim cap
Good sized swim cap made of silicone so it doesn't rip your hair out. It's a good size and fits my head well, not too tight or too loose. Easy to rinse clean. Can't comment on durability yet, had been using it a few months though and no signs of wear.

Simple and decent swim hat, not much you can say except it fits well and keeps our teens hair dry when she is swimming. Perfect!

Decent quality and value for money!
Decent quality and good value for money. I hadn't worn a swim cap for years but found these ones MUCH easier to put on than others I used in the past. Would buy again and recommend.
