Hard to clean

We have a Saluki/German Shepherd that we call our special needs dog. He was a street puppy in the middle east and probably not treated well. We rescued him through a local rescue group and he's a wonderful dog with some emotional problems. One of his problems is that he won't let anyone touch his feet. In three years we've only been able to cut his nails twice when he was anesthetized for other reasons. So he has extremely long nails which can be a problem for the seats in our cars. This cover has saved our seats so far, but after a couple of years the top layer is wearing thin. It also doesn't vacuum easily, so the dog hair is hard to remove. And because he's a tall dog this doesn't keep him in the back seat, but it allows him to step over it and stand with his front paws on the console.

Fits great and nice material

Fits my Infiniti M35 like a glove. The material seams heavy duty and much more durable as I anticipated, time will tell though. I’m giving it 4 stars only because we need to test the longevity.

First use, already ripped

The very first use, less than 6 hours in the car, and already it’s got a big rip in it. Cheap material and construction, not worth it at all. What a joke.

Quilted Water-Resistant Hammock Car Backseat Cover, Standard.

As you will note, this is from the Amazon basics range and as such it is supposed to present good quality and value for money, this is a bit overpriced, so I have taken off a star, but otherwise, a great product to have if you have dogs or want to save your backseat from getting dirty or damaged. The material is well quilted and is waterproof, it is very large, it fitted my car perfectly, there are four straps, for the headrests at the front and two for the back headrests, it is also very easy to clean off or wash and should last for a long time, as the stitching seems to be robust, but if the stitching fails it is likely to fall apart. I have used this in the boot of my 4x4 as well, you just need to fold the sides, with the hammock you also get two straps, which you can put into the seat belt to secure your pooch, so a nice versatile hammock and worth getting especially if the price was a bit lower, otherwise, a great product and worthy of four stars.

There's simply not enough room (or time to shift the stuff that's in there, more to the point) for me to put my dogs in the boot when I take them out for a walk. So back seat it is. And with two adventurous cocker spaniels who seek out water and mud for fun that can get quite messy. I was due to replace the old cover I had been using so it was the ideal time to get this. It's so easy to "set-up" and fits perfectly in the back of my Ford Focus. It's easy to attach and it stays in place well. It can be set up as a "hammock" style if your dogs like to attempt to be front-seat passengers but I let that bit hang down loose as my two are quite content to sleep when we're on our way back from the walk. It's nicely padded so presumably comfortable for the dogs and it says in place well. It left the seat underneath clean and dry so it's doing exactly what it sets out to do. Good value too.

Protect your car from your dog in an instant

If you have a dog and want to take them for a walk somewhere away from home you can either put the doggos in the boot or the back seat, and if you have a small car the boot may not be big enough. This is a cover for the back seats of your car. It attaches via strap around the headrests for the back and front seats. The straps can be adjusted to get a good fit. They also include 2 seat belt leads to secure your dog. The material has a slight padding to it and it's good and water resistant. So a wet dirty doggo will not result in a dirty smelly car interior. The dogs sat comfortably on this and best of all kept our car clean. Good quality and value. Recommended

Absolutely fantastic! Never again will our furball have to be positioned on a blanket or towel that ends up clogging the washing machine and still getting fur EVERYWHERE!this backseat/boot cover is so perfect. It’s fantastic quality that’s so easy to shake off, wipe off or even hose off! Amazing and super safe too. Seatbelts included and all areas secured to head rests. I’m so impressed and happy with this.
