Great value and quality

I recently purchased the Amazon Basics 4 Pack C Cell All-Purpose Alkaline Batteries and am happy with their performance. These batteries have a long 5-year shelf life, making them a reliable choice for various applications. The Batteries are Great, the Clamshell Not So Much

The Good: These batteries have a price point that beats their competitors out of the water. Duracell, Energizer were all 2 or even 3 times more than this one. But price without quality would be moot, luckily these batteries have been going strong since I got them, if that changes I will let you know. The Bad: Its not the product itself, its the packaging. Grab your scissors and be ready to fight for your right to get to your product. Just be careful not to get nicked in the process, the clamshell is hard, tight and pretty unforgiving. A feature which might be great for anti theft protection but seeing as this is probably primarily sold online, hopefully it becomes more user friendly in the future. In this product I was looking for two things, battery life and price point. This product exceeded my expectations on both. Price point for a 4-pack was a little over $4, competitors are listed at 9 or even 13 dollars. Battery life has been great so far, its given me exactly what I needed. This review in a sentence: Quality and price can't be beat, definitely a buy I would recommend.

Batteries good. Packaging from devil himself

The batteries are cheap and good. Getting through the plastic casing is like trying to get through the nine levels of hell. It must be some R&D byproducts of Bezos’ rocket materials.

Great batteries overly tough packaging.

I have used Amazon Basic batteries for years and find them very satisfactory. This time I needed a C battery for a big wall clock. The clock has been running on time for a day or two now so I am sure this battery will perform as well as the other sizes I have used over the years. I knocked a star off and am writing this review to encourage Amazon to rethink the packaging or include a chainsaw with the order to facilitate getting the batteries out of the package. Well, maybe a chainsaw is a stretch, but you get the drift. The shrink-wrap plastic is very tough and I had to use heavy duty snips and practically cut the package into small pieces to free the batteries. Other batteries I have gotten from Amazon have come in easy opening cardboard or plastic boxes. I encourage Amazon reconsider how this good product is packaged.

Good solid batteries

Amazon batteries are a good value and as with all their products, come with the Amazon 'guarantee'. My only gripe is the packaging, which is hard to get open without multiple tools and without cutting yourself in the process. I understand destructive packaging, but geez.

Quality

Quality at great price, not a common use size so only purchased the small quantity. They last at least a year in my primary flashlight.

Buenas pilas relación precio-calidad

Las compré en rebaja y fue una gran oferta, ya que incluyen 4; comprar la misma cantidad de otra marca me hubiera salido el doble o triple de lo que pagué. Han funcionado muy bien hasta ahora, ninguna queja (actualizaré la reseña en caso de que sea necesario). El único inconveniente es el empaque, el cual es difícil de abrir.

Easy wrapping ????

Batteries seem to be OK. It is too early to know how long they last. But, "easy to open value pack"? It was far from being "easy" to open the package. Without using tools like knife and heavy duty scissors, you have no chance to get the batteries out of the plastic wrapping. That is not what I call "easy".
