Seems to work as advertised

I’m always hesitant to praise cables for doing their job well, as there’s no good way to know how they will hold up over time. Some nice cables can last a while, or break a few days after the warranty is up. This one feels good and seems to charge at the advertised speeds without any issues, but will it still do that in 6 months? I’m not so confident.

Only lasted 7 months. Similar life span to other inexpensive cables.

I was hopeful that this cable might last longer than others I have purchased; it did not. There is a bit more thickness to it but it eventually failed where the USB-C plug meets the wire. A crack developed at this point and it quickly deteriorated it a gap with exposed wire seven months in. My quest for a robust cable continues.

Good Value Cable.

I have been using this cable for a few weeks and like it so far. The primary device it is used on is a Google pixel phone. Positives: The fast charge is working properly. The ends seem to plug into the socket with a positive and secure click. I really enjoy having a 10ft length. Negatives: The cable is a little stiff. If it was more flexible it would be easier to use my phone while it's plugged in without putting too much stress on the plug. The cable was shipped folded up and the bends this caused in the cable are still there. I have tried massaging them out and that only helped a little. Hopefully they will straighten out over time and use.

Good product

I read the other reviews about the smell and it isn't that bad. You have to be actually smelling it up close to your nose to smell the weird chemical smell. But it doesn't stink up a whole room or anything. Everything else is great its pretty light and a good 10ft. I recommend this charger.

Extrem starker chemischer Geruch - auch noch nach Tagen!

Auch nach Tagen ist der chemische Geruch unterträglich. Wenn man das Kabel in der Hand hatte, kann man es sogar an den Händen riechen. So etwas ist mir bis heute als Kabel noch nicht unter gekommen - geht leider zurück nachdem ich es 7 Tage mit "lüften" im Freien und sogar mit abwaschen versucht habe.

solide Qualität aber starker chemischer Geruch

Das Kabel macht einen soliden Eindruck und lädt sowohl mein Notebook als auch mein iPad ohne Probleme. Allerdings geht vom Kabel ein sehr intensiver chemischer raumfüllender Geruch aus, deshalb gibt es 2 Sterne Abzug. Ich bin von AmazonBasics besseres gewohnt.
