Good cord
Purchased after issues with my phone connecting to my android auto. Seems to have fixed the problem, at least so far. Much sturdier cord that usual so if you're having connection issues, give this a whirl.

Works with Android Auto on a Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra
Was having trouble keeping my S22 Ultra connected to Android Auto when driving my new Subaru Forester Wilderness /flex. Tried three different USB c cables, until I bought this and stays connected flawlessly. Just so y'all know, the cables I used to have were the nice Anker nylon cables that just did not stay connected for whatever reason.

This cable works very well for USB 3 Gen2 10gbps data transfers
Cable: AmazonBasics USB Type-C to USB-A Male 3.1 Gen2 Adapter Charger Cable - 3 Feet (0.9 Meters) - Black This cable works very well for USB 3 Gen2 10gbps data transfers Summary: This cable surprised me as most USB 3 Gen2 cables perform poorly, especially the Type A to Type C cables. A very reasonable price for a USB 3 Gen2 10gbps cable, but it works very well with my testing (990MB/s read, 980MB/s write). It doesn't look as pretty as the competitor cables and it likes to retain the kinks from the coiling for shipping, but other than that it worked. I expect that leaving it stretched out for a few days will relieve the kinks. Packaged in a no-nonsense biodegradable package with a twist-tie - no other materials. I did not test charging with the cable, only data transfers. === My current test system -Asus Strix Z490-E system, with 3 Type A Gen2 10gbps and 1 Type C Gen2x2 20gbps ports -Samsung 970 Evo Plus and Samsung 950 Pro (and a few other cheaper drives) -Several Common USBC adapters/enclosures (I can provide exact models if you need the info) -Massive active cooling on the bare boards and drives (no thermal tape in the way, pure high speed air via 2 push-pull 80mm fans positioned around the adapter board and SSD so as to maintain a steady thermal state -Benchmark Software: AS-SSD and CrystalDiskMark for testing - focus in on the sequential block throughput -Wiring: I am not using an external USB hub, just the cable to the adapter/bridge and SSD === My opinion on USB 3 Gen2 10gbps cables USB 2 Gen2 cables are a hit-or-miss technology at this time (TB3 seems to be more consistent, and of course more expensive). I feel that certified cables with the active chips seem to perform better. Shorter cables seem to perform better. The longer the cable (especially over 3ft) the more inconsistency (I have one 6ft Gen 2 cable that works in my system, and have sent back a few others). You can have perfect hardware (several varieties) and an expensive USB Gen2 cable may not perform, while a cheaper 1ft-3ft cable performs just fine. Only an expert in this specific field (USB 3 Gen 2) could shed light on these inconsistency issues. Proper cable shielding is required to obtain 10gbps, and that is stiff and heavy. There is probably no way to hit 10gbps with a very flexible cable. Stiff cables transfer movements to the connector and thus a perfect connector design (both sides) is necessary, else a slight movement will jiggle the cable - no getting around this - so many vendors involved in the average system. === About Me I am a 30-year+ software developer that has worked with a lot of high-end high-performance hardware. I don't take testing lightly, but I can't develop a laboratory for testing these cables (not my area). Please take my review for what it is worth based on the info above. I can only speak to what I have seen with my hardware, as listed above.

It's a cable....
Seems well made enough that it won't break after a few uses.

Great saving
I bought a new iPad which won’t connect to my laptop hence the need for a separate connector. In the Apple shop their price was pence short of £30. ???????? Took a photo of the box and searched on Amazon and bought with a saving of £22. I was a little worried about buying but because it was an Amazon product I felt quite confident in purchasing from them. Works perfectly and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Basic but Good
Why is it so hard to just get a cable to charge your phone? There is just too much choice, a lot of the 3rd party no name cables seem good value, but the reviews just aren't that great. The branded cables are overpriced. Luckily, Amazon are to the rescue with an Amazon Basics cable. My number one fear of any cable or charger I buy is that it'll fry my device or burn my house down whilst I sleep, I trust Amazon to provide a product that won't do that. The cable is well built, reliable and not expensive. I use this to charge my phone at work from my PC and it does that job well. 0.9m is the perfect length to reach from the back of my docking station to the phone in front of it. Pros Inexpensive Good build quality (but....) Trusted brand Cons Cable feels like it's good quality, but because of that it's reall stiff. The cable is quite thick and doesn't have much flexibility from the off.

Better than expected - underrated name for a good product
Not had it for long - only 2 days but from the outset a few key qualities stand out: 1. Fast charging - able to charge my note 10+ at +1%/minute, using the fastest charging power bank - easyacc 4 port - Green Port: DC 5-6V/3A spec, which shows very good wires used for charge conduction. 2. Fastest data transfer - at 10gbp/sec, faster than most wires which is 5gbp/sec (2nd best) - thus ideal for transferring things or supporting UHD monitoring. 3. Sturdy cable - not fully tested due to only have it for 2 days and is not braided however the connection points appear quite think and robust so it at least appears to be quite durable. Overall, I do believe the name amazon 'basics' is underrated as the item is relative cheap but does many things - as summarized above better than other third party USB-C items - I recommend reading over the item description and trying it out yourself to compare - if the quality is what you expected there is always the (responsibly) return option :).

It’s a cable which does cabley type things.
Now this is something you don’t normally hear, an Amazon Basics product being better quality than the original. Every Apple cable I’ve had always falls to bits at the end of the plug or suddenly stops working for no real good reason just because it’s decided ‘Today I’m going to cark it and go to the great cable maker in the sky’. I’ve had this and other Amazon basics cables for other devices like Android and their still working and outliving their Apple counterparts. Great price too. Yup highly recommended.
