like the adhesion strip

I do like the adhesion strip but think they need to be a little wider. They do seal the envelope but I juts feel if their was a little more glue on the strip it would seal better

They are good for making bills etc.... Great buy in Amazon warehouse items. Thickness is good. Great value and happy with purchase

DO NOT BUY - They changed supplier to save a couple cents

The top images are the old envelopes that I bought 1 month ago. Bottom is the new cheap envelopes. They have changed their supplier to these cheap garbage envelopes to save a couple cents. WORST ENVELOPES EVER. ASKING FOR A REFUND. DO NOT BUY - NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Avoid this at all costs if you want to print on it

First off, Amazon dislikes my honest reviews, so this will be trimmed down to the basics (since they keep removing my other reviews with pictures). First off, I bought this new, a used box came. Clearly used, I showed pictures and explained it, but maybe this is what’s getting my reviews removed. Second, the envelopes are extremely thin and cheap. They look and feel like one drop of water will ruin the entire envelope. Third, they are NOT laser printer friendly. The heat from the laser printer just shreds the window, which is clearly another thin and cheap material. I buy and use lots of Amazon Basics products (batteries, hand towels, chargers, etc), and is this is by far the worst product Amazon labels as their own. Avoid this like the plague if you need any business functions from this.

affordable and readily available but not tamper proof

stumbled on these for pay stubs at work, not being able to secure the normal supply. When you burn through a few hundred a week, these are a great option. The peel off sticker is easier and more convenient than one you have to damped. Only note is that the adhesive doesn't ever 'set' like a normal envelope that you lick does. So if you are sending confidential docs, it is possible to peel these open ever so slowly without showing evidence of tampering, and then press them closed again.

Standard printed cheque addresses will NOT show up properly in these windws.

The point of windowed security envelopes is usually to hide the document that is inside, usually a cheque that is printed. There is a standard placement for the name and address on these cheques that EVERY SINGLE #10 WINDOW envelope I have used for the last 15 years places their window so YOU CAN READ THE NAME AND ADDRESS from the cheque within the envelope. I can't believe how many words it takes to type that THESE ENVELOPES are USELESS! I so rarely leave a review on anything, and if I do it's because it was such an amazing quality product, or it was such an utter piece of garbage that fails even to do its simplest function. This review is the latter. AmazonBasics, step up your game. I will now not buy anything in any category of product that says AmazonBasics on it, and that sentiment used to be the opposite. This product is a hot pile of useless.

Problems with adhesive

While this is an excellent price, the adhesives on most the envelopes didn't line up and many came sealed in one small spot that made using them difficult. Envelopes are also pretty flimsy. I'd say good for small job usage but as we were stuffing 500 envelopes at a time they weren't a great choice.
