Worked great much better than I thought it would
I needed this for 150 small parts I needed to bevel. This little sucker lasted through all of it it was Israeli Olive Wood so it was hard wood and this bit never slowed down didn't chip or burn the wood, the bearing worked fantastic throughout the entire project I was very surprised very pleasantly surprised.

This is the bit you are looking for
This bit is great. I now have a dedicated palm router for this chamfer bit, as well as the Amana micro round over as I use them on almost every single project I make. Cuts great and leaves an excellent surface. The micro chamfer makes for a very appealing and different finish to the edges of your projects, as opposed to just knocking off the edge with a sander or simple roundover.

The little bit that can!!
Some of my woodworking projects have tight turns and small pockets along the edges, and these are areas that I can't get into with standard bearing router bits. Before discovering Amana's mini router bits, I was doing my edge profiles with a Dremel router and Dremel's mini router bits. They worked OK for a little while, but would quickly get to the point of burning wood, because they don't have a bottom bearing, just a post. With its tiny 3/16 diameter bearing, this bit easily gets into the tight spots, without burning the wood. The carbide tipped cutter routered flawless edges on anything I asked it to, from walnut to white oak to hard maple, and even hickory. Not sure how long this bit will last, but I have been edge profiling hardwoods with it for months, and they look just as good as the first time I used the bit. Love it, and would definitely buy another.

great bit
This is a very sharp bit, and it worked beautifully, leaving a very smooth cut. Keep it moving or you'll get a burn mark - not your standard wheel bearing. It works great on inside corners - very little cleanup.

****Make sure you tighten the bearing retaining nut before you use this bit!****
****Make sure you tighten the bearing retaining nut before you use this bit!**** Mine came loose and the bearing dropped out mid cut nearly ruining my project. After hunting for the tiny bearing, washer and nut for a few min I reassembled using a tiny amount of loctite. I highly recommend doing this before even making a 1st cut with this bit. After reassembly with loctite I was able to make many long continuous cuts with no issue. The bit itself cut nice and clean with no burning, and was just what I needed for my project.

Junk
Bottom bearing popped apart after first 30 seconds of use. Did not have time to mess with it, so just tossed it in the trash…

You will be more than satisfied
I absolutely love this bit. I have been curious about the micro router bits for a while. I finally had the perfect panel for it so I bought it. I am not disappointed at all. Pro-tip : any bit that has a bearing this tiny does not like balls to the wall speed and friction.

Innovative bit, poor customer service
This is an innovative bit in terms of bearing size. It allowed me to chamfer some domino slots for wood screws very nicely. However, the bearing fell apart after limited use. The bit itself is still fine, so I called Amana (had to leave a voice mail) requesting to get a new bearing under warranty. They never even called me back. It appears they do not warranty the bit or bearing. New bearings are $4 through Amazon, so I will go that route in order to get more use out of the bit, but feel Amana should at least answer the phone or return a call to discuss the situation. Poor customer service in my opinion.

great quality little router bit that does the job.
Clean cutting and works terrific in those smaller hand held routers for finer work.
