Can't immerse the blender wand for cleaning.

Like: powerful; ergonomic; 1-button operation; fairly easy speed adjustment; long blender wand. Dislike: not enough vortex (leaves medium size pieces); blender head is too large to fit into a wide-mouth mason jar, much less a coffee mug; you're not supposed to immerse the wand when washing it; the corrugations within the blender head make washing it harder; fibers clog up the openings in the blender head (more than my older blender). It'd be great if makers of small kitchen appliances went back to braided power cords, so you could store them in small places more easily.

if you can afford it, perfect!

The All-Clad Immersion Blender hit my sweet spot. I did NOT want all the accessories included with competitive offerings; I just wanted cordless no-stall power, even at low speed and the All-Clad fit the bill with low impact on storage. Secondarily, I MUCH prefer a stainless steel exterior to plastic so that also hit my sweet spot. I've seen complaints about the rubber-encased speed button, and I can see how that might be an issue with heavy/careless use, but (as a one-time user) I haven't experienced that. So far, so good.

Decent product for the price & availability

Supply chain issues have made replacing needed items difficult at best. I "settled" for this brand & model and I am delighted that I did! It was readily available & it works better than expected! No regrets here. Strongly recommend this brand & model for less than commercial use.

Overall Great

Minus one star only for price. I love that this is cordless. I’ve never had a problem with battery life. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and quickly blends. It’s also noticeable to me that it’s pretty lightweight compared to others. All Clad is a high quality product, and this immersion blender is no exception. However, it’s very expensive. I’m hoping it lasts for several years at that price point.

Left out in the COLD after warranty!!!

This product is a quality product while it works! That being that said, I would not recommend buying this product. All-Clad claims that their product may be repaired after warranty, while this is fundamentally true the way they make this product is unrepairable. the batteries are welded too your controller board causing well over $100 to fix. Maximum life of the batteries are three years, the warranty is two years. I would recommend buying a lesser expensive product!!! You can buy hand blenders they're probably equally as good for 30 or 40 dollers

Nice deep wand

I burned out my kalorik stick blender because the head if it was deceiving about whete the motor sits in the head. It sucked soup into the blender motor even though I wasn't very close to the soup level when I used it. This wand is longer and allows me to blend easily. I like the adjustable speed so I don't have to go full speed when I don't need to. The head is dishwasher safe. My only observation is that the vent holes in the head seems to catch solids that don't release when blending so I have to stop to clear them every once in a while when blending souls and salsas. I nit sure if it's because the holes aren't large enough. I never noticed this with other models but it's not a game changer. I'm liking the power.

Buy this one.

Con: The head does not fit a standard wide mouthed mason jar. Pro: The head is large enough to process a large amount at once. Con: There is this rubbery substance on the handle with membrane buttons. This will eventually wear out, where as all steel all the way up and tactile buttons would last much longer. This is a very minor con, they actually feel fine. Pro: It has all the power you will ever need, It liquefies smoothies, soups, sauces, (including mayonnaise) and traces soap. Con: If you don't pay attention to how you connect the blending shaft to the motor there is a definite pinch hazard. Pro: The blending shaft is long for reaching into tall vessels. Pro: It's corded so you never have to worry about running out of battery, or an internal battery reaching end of life and not being able to be replaced. Pro: It has variable speed and a turbo speed function. The buttons are on when you press and off when you don't. Simple. Con: It's expensive. I'd buy another one if I lost this one. It's the best immersion blender I've used.

Stop looking and buy this, NOW!

Powerful, Fast and Robust

We love it! Really nothing to dislike about this All-Clad immersion hand blender. It is extremely powerful but the dial at the top allows you to easily control the speed of the blade to suit any blending task and any food density. We had other domestic immersion blender before that lasted for few years before the motor stoped working, but none of them was as powerful and as robust. At this price point ($100 to $120 CAD, 2019) it maybe double the price of other non-commercial hand immersion blenders, but after the first used it was clear thar it is worth every penny. It is slightly on the heavy side, (a a direct result of the big powerful, 600W motor and sturdy construction) but for the same reason we complete any blending task twice as fast than any other non-commercial-use blender we used before.

Not durable at all. Used 2-3 times a week for less than a year.

After about two months of having the unit the locking mechanism that connects the shaft and the handle piece broke, making it impossible to separate the two pieces. Although it was still functional, it was hard to clean and inconvenient to store. Recently while using the unit we noticed a metal piece in our food. Very sharp which looked like a blade but could not tell where it came from. I purchased a second unit in Feb 2020. It is now April 2020 and the unit broke. The quality of the build is incredibly weak but it is a very strong unit and gets the job done so I bought the second one but this was much worse than the first in terms of build quality. This unit is not very well made but it is very powerful. Durability is not there. The sad thing is that this still seems to be the best unit for the price so I may need to buy another one unless I can find another option.

Best Immersion Blender on the market!

We have stand-alone blenders which I always use for soups (transferring from the pot), but my curiosity was piqued by what seemed to me a sudden popularity for hand-held immersion blenders. I know that many friends have enlightened me since that they have been popular for a long time now actually. I did some research, found that this All-Clad Immersion blender consistently received the highest ratings and ordered it. I am so exceptionally glad I did! I used it the day I received it and was blown away by how much better it is than the stand-alone blender I had been using for so, so many years. It is fast, easy to handle, powerful and easy to clean. I definitely am delighted to recommend it!

Super Power for a Super Price

I was so excited to find this immersion blender by All-Clad. I had been looking to replace my old All-Clad immersion blender since my husband accidentally broke. It was 13 years old and had always worked great so I wanted the same brand. This new All-Clad blender is so much more powerful. I made a cream of zucchini soup with it and it made short work of blending up all the zucchini. It has a nice long handle that allows for use ina large stock pot. I am please. The only downfall (if you could call it that) is I cut myself cleaning it....it is far sharper than my old one too so be very careful. Otherwise it was a great purchase at a great price.

Amazing Product

I love this blender...it has the power to blend smoothly...even hard to mix items. The only issue I have with it is that it splatters if you are not really careful...you have to make sure it is always immersed. I have been sprayed many times.
