Lovely and useful spoons for soft boiled eggs amateurs

These set of two spoons is a little bit expensive, but the quality is incredible. These soft boiled eggs spoons are made of 100% Italian stainless steel and Italian are good at stainless steel and design so these are pieces of art. Heavy in hand, but not too much; you know what you paid for: quality . Easy to maintain, beautiful and necessary to break the shell, they are a must for happy breakfasts. Moreover, they are a good piece of conversation because you will not see them everywhere!

Form Tumps Function

I am generally a huge fan of Alessi Products. They are usually of very high quality and wonderful form, but this item allows form to tump function. First the good, the spoons are beautifully crafted and with exquisite polish and amusing design. They appear to be very functional with a little hammer in the head to crack the shells and a nice spoon to eat with. The problem is the slender round handle. It gives nothing to index the spoon while you are attempting to eat with it. You constantly find it rotating around as you try to eat with it, making it very difficult to do the basic task it is intended for...eating an egg. Wonderful to look at, but not as wonderful to actually use.

I really enjoy using these spoons

As an egg lover, I really enjoy using these spoons. They are beautifully crafted, nicely weighted and have a brilliant shiny luster. They are a bit pricey, and I had to think several times before making the purchase. They ended up being an Easter gift from my Mom and now I will always cherish them. If you like to indulge in the egg eating experience, they do make a worthy companion.

Nice spoons for a judge.

Good finish. Just as they're shown. Teaspoons for a judge. Have not tried hammer end on soft boiled eggs which is original intent.

Disappointed

As a novelty the spoons are great but in practical use they are fiddly. A normal coffee or teaspoon work better. Beautifully made but overpriced.

Ammetto di avere una fissazione per le uova e mi sono immaginata tante volte fin da piccola picchiando la mattina col cucchiaio il guscio dell'uovo per romperlo come mai non si potesse fare in un altro modo. Mi mancavano i cucchiaini a martello per le uova e ora li ho. Non posso dire che sono indispensabili ma riconosco che io ci tenevo ad averli. L'accia è di qualità e il peso del martello non sbilancia il cucchiaio perchè è ben proporzionato.

En acier inoxydable brillant c’est un ensemble de deux petites cuillères dédiées aux petits déjeuners et plus particulièrement à la dégustation des œufs coques. L’embout en forme de marteau sert à toquer la coquille de l’œuf afin de la briser délicatement sans l’abimer. Elles mesurent 12 cm de hauteur et sont d’une belle qualité bien lourde, les cuillères tiennent bien en main. Biens résistantes à la corrosion (inox 18/10), on peut les mettre au lave-vaisselle sans soucis Au niveau du design, le mélange du style baroque et moderne est particulièrement réussi, c'est un bel achat que je ne regrette pas.
