Hard to Balance

This is a high quality, well made chair float. The cup hold is a nice feature. I used my battery operated air pump to blow it up. I would not recommend trying to blow it up manually. It is very large and would take a very long time. However, it is really hard to stay balance on the float. It took me a few times just to get on it. Make a slight move one way or another and it becomes unbalance and right into the drink you go. It takes a lot to keep it balance. Grabbing my drink out of the cupholder sent me over a few times. It was a learning process to get my balance just right. I did gain some good core strength using this float. It is really high up out of the water, so trying to reach the water with your hands and or feet is a challenge and of course... you flip over if you lean too far. I was not able to manuver myself around the pool when I wanted, like to turn up or down the speaker or get sunscreen or get a drink. It was very difficult. The last straw for me was when I fell asleep. My head tilted to my shoulder and there I went, right into the pool. Talk about a rude awakening. That was it for me. I gave the float away to my sister. It's just not for me.

Finally used my new pool chair!

Temperatures were just right today so figured I would get hubby to blow up my new pool chair and finally get in the pool. We just moved to Florida and the main thing we wanted was a pool. Well, today was the day and I could not wait to try out my chair and it was so worth the wait. It was easy to get in, especially since we have a sun lounge area attached to our pool, so all I had to do was sit down and then push off using side of pool. My only complaint is that the cup holder is bent/deformed so I could not fit a regular cup in it. We were able to get a beer bottle to fit so now I will get another chair and give my hubby this one since he mostly drinks beer anyway. Guess he can only use beer bottles but I think he will get over it. LOL

The Perfect Island Getaway, Every Time

I bought this beauty in turquoise last summer and fell in love. This isn't the slippery, sweaty plastic pool raft I grew up with. In the first minute of my first float, I felt completely relaxed, as if I had been transported to a beach on a faraway island. Like a lot of us, I can't get away much in the summer because of responsibilities at home. But this float is the perfect getaway. I love the drink holder, the head rest, and the contouring to raise my knees to a comfortable position. The extra wide size gives the float added stability. In fact, I don't even have to put on a bathing suit to enjoy my lounge. I take off my shoes and pop on in my barn clothes with a bottle of water. I went for a float this morning and just came into the house to order a second one in raspberry for my hardworking friends to enjoy when they come to visit. Thought it was just the time to post an appreciative review. Thank you!

What’s not wrong with it?

Save your money. It’s a Pretty color, but it stops there. Definitely invest in an electric pump, it’s not that comfortable. I tipped over today due to it being much higher on the left side. There is zero neck and head support so I used a rolled up towel which ended up in the pool. Sorry, but I’d rather patch and repatch my old float than deal with this. Lefties will love it though, because the cup holder is on the left but not big enough to hold a regular drink or can. You will need to invest in a very slender thermos. So if it’s worth investing in an electric air pump, neck pillow and a specially designed ultra slim thermos then this is your float. Also the sueded surface is not repairable with a standard patch kit. If you get a leak , just hope it’s on the smooth vinyl side. In other words pass on this, spend more money and be happy. Lean to the left. Back it goes!

Most popular pool float at our house.

We have had a float like this for a few years now and everyone wants it. The old finally bit the dust this summer after all the kids and grandkids enjoyed it excessively! So glad we could find a new one for next summer at a reasonable price.

Fabulous Pool Lounge

Love it! My daughter, aged 52, who is physically challenged, was able to get on this mat while it was situated in the tanning level of our pool. I think she will be able to get on it from the steps, when she feels more confident. She loved it, which is worth the world to me!! She said it was very comfortable, since it supports your back and elevates your knees. I bought the set of 3 mats offered and have received the 2 that allow the sitting position. My husband used the shop vac to inflate this mat and another that arrived at the same time. In the pool, he used the other mat in the sitting position, then turned it over and laid flat on it. I sat on both in the sitting position and turned over on my stomach with my legs elevated on the backrest, and my daughter sat on this one. We all give both mats 5 stars! In fact, I am going to order another, just like this one, so we have enough for our other two daughters! I guess I'll just have to take a number!!

very very comfortable float i love it, however the sun changed the beautiful color of the float in less than 2 days so not it looks like its "peeling" although its just sun bleached But i still love it for its amazing comfort

cup holder is damaged

I have ordered 2 of these. They are soft and great... but the cup holder is hard Plastic and mishaped and will not hold a water bottle etc. The second one just came and its the same thing....its like its crushed in.

Really comfortable, lots of space for two full size people, and you can stay dry

It was a gift for my sister.......soft to the touch 'suede' on the top, supportive and comfortable, and you can stay dry if you like.....even with two aboard.........floats high in the water, so maybe not too easy to climb back on from in the water, but buoyant enough to climb on from the pool edge. Just hoping for durability.......similar Margaritaville float lasted only a day last year.....this one....so far so good!

Not worth it

It arrived with no valve fitting for quick fill up. It’s only been in the pool for 2 months and it’s discoloured and has grey soil marks on it. Not pleased with it at all. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Comfy, nice floatie. Only lasted a year though.

This Floatie is quite comfortable! I've never had the black mold issue like other reviews have mentioned. I always let it dry fully before deflating and storing it. Bought this floatie July 2021... used it a dozen times. This year July 2022 its leaking at the seams. Wish it would have lasted longer!

Comfortable and sturdy

This is a great buy for us. We use it on the lake, very durable. We tie it on to our boat at the side handle. For the most part, we side 2 very comfy on it. The cup holder even holds my yeti (20 ox). We've had 3 people on it, still comfy and room to move. Really enjoying this purchase!
