Product exactly as expected

I bought this to keep birds from nesting in our awning. I usually stuff all the gaps with plastic bags but needed a better alternative so I bought this cover. Love it. Exactly what I expected. The largest size (192”) fits out 16 foot awning perfectly. The straps are extra long and we ended up wrapping them around the awning a couple times and then tying. Worked great. Did have to use extra bungee cords on the ends but only for our bird problem. (Also the reason for the black netting above awning in the pictures.) There are loop straps on the ends so possibly the straps could go through that instead of using the bungee cord. It looks great even using it the way we did. We put it up in late February in Ohio but the weather has been extremely mild so haven’t been through full winter weather. It’s been extremely windy and it has held on very well. No shifting at all.

Good weight fabric, no fading, and worked very well through a rainy winter in Seattle

Review for Advaning protective cover. I would recommend purchasing - well worth the price. I ordered two 10' beige covers in Sept. 2021 and installed them soon after. I kept them on throughout the winter, removed this June (2022) They held up really well through a cold, rainy Seattle winter where temps were below freezing off and on, getting as low as the mid to high teens for a week at a time. Note: When installing, you do have to take time to properly cover/wrap them so water will shed off and won't pool inside them - well worth the little extra effort. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that, with only two ties (and those towards the middle) I had to add additional ties on the ends in the form of 1" wide velcro, cut into 24" lengths.

Serves the purpose

We bought this to protect our Advaning awning that we purchased this spring. It was a huge investment so rather than but the universal cover, we bought the one made for it. I have to say for the money, I was not impressed. It does not fit snuggly, in fact, it’s rather baggy. The ties are about 3’ too long, even when we wrapped it around through the back, to cinch it up more. I’m not a fan of how it looks, but again, it serves the purpose. For the extra it costs to buy their brand, it should fit better. It does appear to be heavy duty and will protect it from the 120+inches of snow and ice we get, but again, part of it is exposed-even though it’s the under part, it will allow for the moisture to get into the brackets and may rust. I’ll update in the spring when we open it back up

Was not sure it would fit my awning because of metal cap, but it fit perfectly.

Quality of material is great, I’m sure it will extend the life of my awning. And importantly is keeps out birds and their droppings.

Works but could be improved

Discover fits well, and it’s fairly easy to mount, but it needs additional ties on the ends.

This cover fit our Sunsetter awning and was super easy to put on. It has stayed secure thru rough winter weather.

A good value.

I purchased this to cover our new 14' awning. My only concern is if it will retain moisture. Could have had more tie down straps ended up using zip ties to secure it from high winds.

The quality is exceptional-keep it up Advaning!

We recently purchased our 16 ft x 10 ft Advaning Electric Awning. It was easy to put up, simple instructions and a beautiful addition to our home. The quality and construction of it is made very well, the color that we ordered is true to the pictures, and the packaging and delivery were exceptional. We are glad that we made this choice of Advaning instead of another name brand. If we ever need another one, they will have our business. I'm adding to my review of the Advaning Electric Awning to say that we purchased an awning cover from Advaning also. The cover is also exceptional in the quality and workmanship. We had looked at a much cheaper brand and decided on this one. So glad we did. It really wraps around and covers the whole awning assembly very well, with more than enough coverage to tie it with the extra long ties. Once again, great quality.

Perfect Fit

I have a 10' wide Awntech retractable awning with cassette; and this is a perfect fit. the straps are very long. Will definitely keep the awning protected from the elements.
