Connecting at this angle seems to help
I had tried several other versions. I usually work from the couch or bed and the other angles seem to pull from the usb port and disconnect my Ethernet. This one has (so far) kept me connected as needed.

My old adapter would disconnect of I bumped it. This one has a solid connection.

Contrario a lo que mencionan otras reviews, este adaptador utiliza un ASIX AX88179A (el cual no debe ser confundido con el AX88179), el que integra este adaptador no necesita de ningún driver para funcionar en macOS Monterey. Por otra parte, el controlador USB se trata de un VIA Labs. Un detalle mínimo que he podido notar, es que Mac tarda en reconocer el adaptador unos segundos después de encenderse, sin embargo, cuando ya está encendido y reconoce todo, funciona de maravilla. El rendimiento del AX88179A es fantástico, mucho mejor que el AX88179 en cuanto a compatibilidad y rendimiento. Con ningún otro adaptador había conseguido un Ping de 1 ms. Es capaz de hacer Full Dúplex sin ninguna complicación e incluso gasta menos recursos de CPU en Mac que adaptadores con otros chipsets.

not as fast as the stand alone Amazon ethernet adapter
For some reason it was slower than the single Amazon ethernet adapter. I purchased both and tried both in the same USB port, but this one was slower. Returned it and kept the other.

Works well
Since my laptop does not come with an ethernet port so I decided to get one, read the reviews for it and decided to give it a try. It was easy to install. I'm satisfied with my purchase and would def recommend it. I also noticed that it does get warm like some of the other reviews said but it was not that bad.

Gets the job done
I ordered this to use with my laptop at school. Very easy to use and not too big. The extra USB ports allow me to use my document camera along with my zip drive and wireless mouse.

Junk
It will not stay in the usb port. ANy movement and it pulls out and disconnects. I am on a lap top. I am tired of all of these being useless junk. I lot of wasted money. And this is another waste.

Ethernet fails under load
With high throughput, the ethernet interface dies. I can then reset it under Linux with 'ip link set dev eth1 down' then 'up' but that takes about ten seconds out of your video call. I'm fairly sure this is a heat problem cos it comes on quicker if I'm also watching the CCTV, and it'll need resetting every five minutes as long as I'm pushing all the data I can find through it, but if I turn off all the video it behaves. I proved this by solving the problem by plugging a USB ethernet device into one of this device's usb slots instead of using its inbuilt ethernet. It took me oodles of time and interruption of important video calls to isolate this, so I urge that this device be taken off the market until it occurs to somebody to test it under load.

Suited for Purpose
I had installed Linux Mint on to an old laptop without a network adapter and couldn't figure out how to Install the missing wifi driver. Therefore, I purchased this puchased this in order to get the laptop online. It worked brilliantly and alowed me to automatically acquire and install the missing wifi driver through the Linux driver update service.

Caused issues with my Internal SSD drive after installation
After I connected this device I noticed some odd behavior with my crucial 1tb SSD. I had active downloads which ceased and I could no longer access the SSD drive from with in windows. After rebooting, my SSD was reporting as an unknown device within device manager in windows. Rebooted again and accessed the BIOS, drive was missing. Removed the device and rebooted. SDD drive came back. Connected up the hub again and my SSD dropped off.

Amazon Basics
Well It's Amazon Basics! Does exactly what I needed it to do and at a good price point. I did however have to send the first one I received back to swap it out as there was something rattling inside when it arrived but the replacement was fine and worked perfectly. Great for use on the Raspberry Pi Zero!

Simple, plug and play
Was having issues with an old Anker USB Ethernet hub with my Surface running Pop OS. Realtek Ethernet drivers on linux (and even Windows it seems) seem to really be hit and miss.... So I took a plunge at trying this one. What can I say, benefit of the Ethernet module not being Realtek, it works right out of the box with Linux. No setup required, just plug and play.
