Solid Construction that Works as Expected

Arrived as a Thule branded product. Solid construction that works as advertised. This was not an off-brand / aftermarket copy. It works exactly as I had hoped & I expect this component will out-live the bike its on.

Works as desired with my Alfine hub. Minus two stars as I have to carry an additional wrench size to change a tire. They should either make the nuts 15mm or include a nut of the same size for the other side.

Works for InStep trailer.

I am so happy this worked! I have a Public bike with a Shimano Nexus internal hub and an InStep trailer. Since this product is Thule, I wasn't sure if it would work for the InStep, but it does! It was pretty hard to find any info about this issue on the Internet and my bike store hadn't seen this problem before. I took a chance buying it, thanks to Amazon Prime shipping, and I'm happy I did. Glad I will be pulling my little one all summer!!!

Works perfectly to solve internal hub problem

The local bike shop told me it wasn't possible to tow my baby's trailer with my internal hub bike, was so excited to find that this product existed! It arrived just as promised and very easy to use. Kind of pricey for a single nut, but solves a very frustrating problem and definitely better than driving everywhere!!

Adapter

I have an electric e3 Zuma bike with shimano. I purchased the adapter for the shimano axle, and it was way to small. Not even in the ballpark. Very unhappy with the product.

Wish I would have known about this years ago

My wife and I both have Electra bikes with 3 speed internal hubs. We haven't been able to use our Chariot with these bikes until we got this adapter. Wish I would have known about this years ago.

Does what it says on the tin. Use a torque wrench.

Fit my Nuvinci N330 hub perfectly. It allowed me to adapt my hubgear bike to pull my Thule trailer. The instructions provided the torque ratings for the hitch, which was beneficial, since I would not have expected that the hitch would require that much force. Definitely use a torque wrench to attach this adapter if you have one available.

Produkt top - Preis hoch

Wir waren uns anfangs unsicher ob wir den Adapter wirklich brauchen. Wir hätten auch die Kupplung direkt auf die Achse setzen können, aber es hat sich gezeigt, dass der Adapter einige Vorteile mitbringt. 1. Das Gewinde der Achse ist etwas kurz für den Adapter mit der Mutter. Würde aber meistens funktionieren. 2. Der Hauptvorteil ist jedoch, dass der Adapter einen kleinen Abstand zwischen Rahmen und Kupplung bring. Es ist somit viel einfacher und komfortabler den Sicherungsbolzen durch die Kupplung zu schieben. Hier hängt man ohne Adapter immer an der Mutter fest (funktioniert mit etwas Geduld aber auch). Der Adapter an sich ist super verarbeitet und auch wertig. Der Preis (ist überall ähnlich hoch) ist jedoch etwas happig , da man ja auch auch noch die eigentliche Kupplung benötigt.

Qualität ist für den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt.

Qualität ist für den Preis nicht besonders hochwertig.... die beiden Gewinde liegen nicht auf einer Achse. Eine schraubensicherungspaste war auf meiner Schraube nicht( meistens blau bzw. rot). Schon wegen den zwei Punkten bekommt das Produkt einen stern abgezogen. Den anderen verliert das Produkt wegen den Preis. Und den dritten wegen den unterschiedlichen Materialien. Zu den Preis wäre ein hoher Edelstahl in allen Bauteilen angebracht. Kurz und knapp. Pro: Schnelle Lieferung Einfache Abwicklung Negativ Unsaubere Arbeit Verschiedene Materialien Keine schraubensicherund auf den Gewinden Viel zu hoher Preis.

"One Size" stimmt nicht.

"One Size" stimmt nicht. Nachdem ich den Artikel erhalten habe (der nicht passte), habe ich recherchiert und herausgefundene, dass es zwei Größen gibt…. Ich hab leider die falsche erwischt. Es gibt die 10,5x1 und 10x1.....

Restgewinde und Luft für Ständer

Für die Fragesteller mit dem Fahrradständer: Ja, der Adapter schafft - zumindest bei mir - ausreichend Luft, dass der Ständer nicht der Kupplung im Weg ist und sich auch noch benutzen lässt. Außerdem ist er wichtig, damit genug Gewinde greift für die Kupplung. Dass der Preis eine Frechheit ist, wurde ja schon von vielen geschrieben.
