It works, better instructions needed
So I got this for a 12 mm shackle per the Abus website. When it arrived it was to small in diameter to fir the shackle on the lock. It is the plastic covering on the shackle that was the issue. There was no instruction to do so but I measured and cut off just enough to fit the clamp. I was actually going to return it as it didn't fit, but I worked that out. Minus 1 star for poor instructions.

Expensive, but worth it
Yes it seems super silly to spend $50 or so between this and the bracket, but they're super robust.

works great
this works perfectly with the abus eaZy KF bracket for the 54 mini lock. I originally purchased the larger lock but it was way too heavy. the benefit of that lock is that it had a built in mounting bracket. the mini did not come with any bracket so you have to get the eazy kf bracket separately and this adapter to mount it. You only have to cut a piece of the plastic wrap on the 54 mini in order to slide this on and tighten with the screws that are provided. it's so easy to put my lock on now and take it off. also reassured knowing that the abus has the highest standard of security.

Modified for use w/ 14mm round u-lock
My product matched the 2nd image (with 2 tightening screws). I removed the inner plastic sleeve (square shaped) to use with 14mm round shackle u-lock. Worked out pretty well and the fit with the mounting bracket (sold separately) is very solid yet easy to connect/ disconnect.

It does not fit the Abus 13m U-lock unless you cut the lock's rubber casing.
This does not fit the Abus 13m U-lock, because the lock has a rubber cover. Apparently one has to cut out the rubber to install this. This is simply silly! If you do cut the rubber, then it will work ok.

Hard install, solid construction, easy to use. Possible to economize on the bracket.
ABUS doesn't make this easy. It seems like this clamp should just come with the lock, ideally pre-installed. It's surprising that one has to cut the plastic sheath on a $100 lock to put this on. I lined the clamp up with the sheath's end on the shackle and cut the sheath carefully with a sharp knife. Sliding the clamp on is also not easy. I used Park Polylube to lubricate the metal, and then a rubber mallet with a vise to lightly pound it on. The rest of the lock sheath slides around too if you're not careful. If you didn't cut enough sheath or didn't line the clamp up, you won't be able to close the lock. Once it's on, though, it works great! One note is that the Eazy KF bracket ($30) you need to go with this can be substituted with an OnGuard lock bracket: https://smile.amazon.com/ONGUARD-45008053-Onguard-Clamp-Bracket/dp/B0090C52SE/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2NP8RDTZ4WLZW&keywords=onguard+bracket&qid=1670521480&sprefix=onguard+brack%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-1 They appear to be the exact same design. The mounting hardware is slightly different, including the diameter of the screw heads, and the OnGuard button is yellow, not gray. The ABUS bracket may be slightly sturdier plastic, but the lock definitely feels like it's not going to fall out of the OnGuard bracket. The family has a number of bikes, so I'm using genuine Eazy KF brackets on our primary bikes and OnGuard brackets I had lying around on the less frequently used bikes. Picture attached of this clamp used with an OnGuard bracket.

Disappointed that it does not fit my model
Accordinging to product review and amazon comments, the shackle was stated to support the large Abus ubar lock I bought. Disappointed that it does not fit my model, as suggested.

Correct part for Abus GRANIT XPlus 540, just needs fitting correctly!
I bought this shackle clamp to fit on my Abus GRANIT XPlus 540 160HB230 U-Lock which came with an USH bracket rather than the smaller, slicker and more convenient Eazy KF bracket. This shackle clamp will fit both the 230mm and 300mm GRANIT 540 locks which have 13mm square profiles. The main benefit of the Eazy KF bracket is that it allows you to simply push to clip the lock onto the frame and press the button to release, whereas the USH bracket requires you to unlock the lock to remove. To use the Eazy KF bracket with a GRANIT 540, you'll need to order this "Abus 9210 Shackle Clamp" and an Eazy KF bracket which is not included. To fit the shackle clamp, trim away a short length of the rubber coating on the U shackle. I used a stanley knife and it was quick and easy to do. The first time I cut some of the rubber off, I did not cut quite enough and the lock would not close, so I needed to cut just another 2-3mm off and it locks perfectly now. Please see the pictures to show the rubber coating I cut away. One star off for value for money. At £9.71 it is expensive and you also need the Eazy KF bracket at £16.51, making it a very expensive solution in total. It's also annoying that there was no definitive answer on the Abus website regarding the suitability of this clamp for my lock. Please press the 'Helpful' button if this review is useful for you!

Eazy kf? Far from eazy in reality. Step1 ...
Eazy kf? Far from eazy in reality. Step1. Buy an ABUS U-lock - which comes without any hardware to mount it to the bike. But hang on, ABUS make an Eazykf bracket for this purpose - sounds Eazy enough? Step 2. Buy an ABUS "Eazykf" bracket. Upon opening the unsealed box it's immediately clear that the U-lock arms are too thin to clip into the Eazykf bracket. Check the instructions and it's clear there should be some kind of sleeve included - this fits around one arm of your U-lock, making the arm thick enough to clip into the Eazykf bracket. Hmmm...no sleeve. Step 3. Return the Eazykf bracket and get another one. Still no sleeve. Step 4. Search Eazykf and find this item - ABUS "Shackle clamp for Eazykf bracket". Step 5. The "Shackle clamp" arrives. Not in a box or ABUS branded packaging but in a small plastic bag. Almost as if it was taken out from the Eazykf bracket box? Anyhow, it doesn't fit on my ABUS U-Mini lock. It turns out there are many different sizes of shackle clamp but no clue is given as to what size each clamp actually is and what size is required for any given U-lock. Abus website has no information on this either. Step 6. Return ABUS clamp, Eazykf bracket AND U-Lock. Try another brand.

Yes, it is the correct part for Abus Granite 540!
When this arrived I thought it was not the correct part because it was difficult to get it into the EasyFit bracket. Turns out I was just being dumb and not pushing it hard enough: it's a tight fit. The other reviewer who wrote the extensive review with photos of how he fitted it is a legend. It's actually really simple to fit. Just put the holder so it was butting up against the lock part, wizzed around it with a knife, pulled the rubber off, and then knocked it into place with a rubber mallet (was a bit of a tight fit as well!). Jobs a good un. Holds the lock really well, saves it beating up the fruit in my pannier bag!

The Image does not depict the item being sent
They have a picture of the Abus Eazykf Bracket this is NOT what is being sold the seller Swinnerton Cycles LTD needs to update the image - otherwise you will be out of pocket paying P+P and nothing in return!!!!

Wrong photo in the listing, do not buy!
What appeared as the whole mount + lock attachment is in fact only a lock attachment, in addition to being twice the price of other lock attachments, they charge £3.5 for shipping. Will be returning the item.
