It does not run on 110 volts as the name implies but works great on 12 volts and on D cells.
It is a very good product for the money. They only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was advertised to work on 2 D cells, 12 volts, AND 110 volts but it is not equipped to run on 110 volts. I needed it to keep 3 KOI alive in a 17 gallon bucket over night, and then on a 3 hour journey home the next day. I ran it mostly on a 12 volt deep cycle marine battery but some of the time on 2 D cells. I didn't actually need to run it on 110 volts but I was extremely annoyed that it was advertised that way and doesn't do it because I had considered running it on a 12 volt-110 Volt AC inverter. It did it's job admirably for about 18 hours though. I can't comment on battery life because I did not run the D cells down, except that the package says 75 hours. I doubt that. I think they may have left out a decimal point and it should have been 7.5 hours but I don't know for sure.

Works for awhile
These things definitely work but they do not last long in a saltwater environment. Maybe I use them harder than normal, but I need them to handle a lot of bait and many times overnight. I use the 12v and the AC adapters as the batteries just don’t t last very long. I try to freshwater flush after every use, but eventually they corrode and won’t work. So right now they are a throwaway item about every 3-4 months and I by a new one. At least they are not too expensive. I’m always looking for a better replacement.

Keeps minnows alive for extended period of time.
I purchased this to avoid losing the expensive minnows in Florida at $5 for a 1/4 pound. Never lost any minnows since. Low battery useage, but I use it on an AC adapter at home after I remove it from the boat. Had a slight problem with the motor--called the company and they had another one within 2 days, no questions asked. Excellent and quick service from the company. Would recommend to anyone wishing to preserve minnows while fishing.

Pretty loud, well built
I bought this to replace an Engel pump that requires the diaphragm to be cleaned every few months or it stops producing bubbles. Also, i thought the Engel was very loud. Well this Hush bubbles is built like a tank and love having the cig hookup. However, this thing is LOUD. Much louder than what I was replacing. Ice fishing last night I had to turn it off most of the night in the shack for fear of spooking the fish and was just plain annoying. 3 stars for how well built it is. I WOULD trust it with $20 worth of shiners to keep running. The Engel had quit on my in that situation and ruined bat for a weekend fishing trip. If your looking for quiet, this ain't it.

Re Review
OK I redid this and am sorry. I said there was no Air Line & bubble attachment with it. I did not intend to actually use batteries & so did not open it up. I got to thinking WTH if they put it inside the battery compartment. Duh they did. I Found it & retract my sad review. I owned an older model that used batteries & got this one because I could use Light or USB Pawer connected to rechargeable batteries. Works great. Is a bit load but if it keeps the fish alive i'm happy. Thanks - sorry I took a couple days to find the bubblier. Maybe you should have said it was inside the unit.

Good unit, but loud
Works well, and batteries last surprisingly long. I can get 2-3 days on batteries, which is way better than the Engel pump that came with my bait box. This unit is not quiet as advertised. Overall happy with the purchase.

Got Dead Bait?
OMG, how many times have I spent $20-$30 bucks in minnows just to find them dead in an hour and if they ain't dead, they are def close to it!. Yeah sure, put the bucket in the water while your boat is anchored - but really who hasn't forgot about those poor fellas and then waterskiied them across the lake! Or better yet, left them out just to cook in the sun! Look, it just ain't gonna happen, they need the bubbles to live, to swim, and to catch you that 5lb bass! Get this thing, plug into your cigarette lighter on the boat or use batteries and whaa-laaa.. no more dead bait..

Buena calidad y cumple por el precio.
Buen equipo. No es super silencioso pero me funcionó bien para mantener en buena forma mi carnada por más de 5 horas en la playa. Los materiales son buenos, solo recomiendo tener cuidado a la hora de sacar y meter las piezas y mangueras ya que el tornillo de la parte trasera parece no ser muy robusto y si se rompe seria un problema para volver a mantener hermética la bomba del agua.
