Worms have great action and caught several bass on first fishing trip using them.

I began fishing these after a few years of very good experience with the regular size UltraVibe Speed Worms. Well, these seem to get less bites and more slaps from smaller bass but when you get a fish large enough to commit...it is on! This is a good alternative to a frog and swimbait other anglers may fish in those shallow, weedy areas, such as lily pads, hydrilla, maidencane, pepper-grass and pond scum. I have only ever fished these on the surface in a constant to burning retrieve to lure morning and afternoon topwater bass strikes and it has worked out well enough. I rigged these with a pegged 1/16 oz bullet weight on a 5/0 superline hook with 20 lb mono or 50-65 lb braid on heavy baitcasting equipment. These do get attention from bass that are no longer than the bait as do most big worms but usually when somebody takes it under it's a bass that >1.5 lbs in my experience (seldom a dang bowfin *ballon fizzle*). My only complaint is that they can be challenging to set the hook since the bait it thicker, if the cover will allow it skin bury the hook barb. I recommend these big baits, put your time in with them during a single fishing trip and the size of bass should go up.

Durable

Hands down the best worm for fishing. I caught four fish with the same worm. These works are very durable, unlike the Senko from Yamamoto. I fished the worm in a traditional way and also used it as a swim bait. Both techniques worked very well!

Worked for me!

I bought these "magnum" worms and some of the Zoom Ultravibe Speed worm (normal size). I caught a 6'-13" bass on the magnum and an 8'-1" bass on the normal size. They worked well for me...best of luck.
