Basic and cheap

For my tiny apartment bathroom, we needed something like this. And it works so far. Doesn't look half bad either. It's definitely cheap. And I had my doubts about the shelves. But they're holding up pretty well. One of the shelves, try as we might, sits at more of an upward angle. But still works. Assembly was easy enough for sure.

Sturdy

Day 1: This is a very good product for my use. I have a molded plastic tub/shower. The measurement between ceiling and shelf is 78". The grip of the plugs at the top and bottom is excellent. The rods do not slip or move. The rods are not bendable by normal means. You won't hurt them by accidentally stepping on them/dropping them on the floor. The shelves are good and strong, not twistable and are welded firmly. There is a silicon insert for the shelves to rest on and from the pictures you can see that even a fully loaded shelf is not going to budge an inch. If it needs to be moved though, I just have to pull the shelf upward and move the silicon plug to a different location on the rod. The product itself is fine, however, the directions are a travesty. They are complicated and not in a good order. I eventually ditched them and just experimented until I discovered that the small skinny rod goes in at the top. The straight rod with no taper goes next with the spring inside it. At the bottom, the rods with tapers give you the height you need. There is a semi-helpful chart telling you which rods with tapers to use, but I wound up having to use an extender anyway. The plastic extender(s) go inside the straight rod on top of the spring. BE CAREFUL OF YOUR CEILING. The spring is strong! If you try to push up and slide the rod onto the bathtub shelf or floor, you will break the ceiling drywall! Always put the bottom down first, then pull down on the spring and then push the rod back until it is on the ceiling where you want it to be then slowly release the spring. I will be interested to see how long this product lasts after being beaten by 45 minute volcano level hot water. For now, I'm happy.

Know what you’re getting into.

Measure before you buy and take your time on installation. There are three sets of assembly instructions depending on how much vertical space you have to work with. The instructions are pretty clear and once installed, the tower is plenty sturdy. I have mine holding about 5 lbs of hair and body care products, plus a bunch of shavers, face creams, and a loofah. There’s plenty of room and the tower itself is solid enough to hold everything you can fit.

Easy to put together

Replaced a 20-year-old (eww, I know) shower caddy with three shelves. Four is almost too many for my installation; I may take one off later. Shelves are pretty shallow but sturdy. I miss having a couple holes for razors and a couple little knobs to hang things on, but it's nice for the price. 15-minute assembly including reading instructions. Here's a hint: you don't always need all three spacers in the spring section.

This worked great. The only issue was assembly. The directions were not that great. My last one I put together, this one my husband had to assemble.

Looks nice and sturdier than you think at first

Make sure you measure from surface to ceiling before you purchase! It looks very nice and will go good with all the black I plan on upgrading my bathroom. TIP when assembling: push the rubber pieces up into the shelves after you get them all where you want them. Also it seems flimsy once you put it together and tug on it a little but it holds a lot of weight! Also this is a tension rod that you push not like a curtain that you twist. Hope this helps!

It took awhile to get this together. Lots of little pieces and lengthy instructions. I do like it now that it is in place.

kind of flimsy but looks nice

i have a full shower, not a shower/tub and it is pretty flimsy when its set up. Assembling is fine if you follow the directions but the tension is just pretty weak compared to other shower shelves. I got this to replace my plastic tension shower shelves because they were ugly, but they were pretty sturdy and had a twist mechanism to get the tension just right. This product might be stronger on other heights but for me and my shower its pretty weak. Its much nicer to look at than the white plastic I had before though so I am keeping it. Holds all my products but if i was sharing a shower with someone it probably would be at its limit weight wise.

Great Product, curious to see how long it last!

Personally, I find that this was one of the hardest installation I’ve ever done. I don’t find that the instructions are clear enough. I followed the instructions for the measurement suggested by the manufacture. However, I ended up up adjusting myself by trying several solutions. Otherwise, I find that it has a great look. It’s not sturdy but it holds well once installed. I really hope that this is a anti-rust product as described.

Useful product but not for people who need step by step instructions.

The instructions are a bit confusing, so if you need step by step instructions then don't buy it. But it's only 4 shelves 5 pole pieces, 1 spring and 3 spacers. So measure the height you need from that. I used 4 poles and 3 spacers to make it fit for me. The shelves hold quite a bit and although it won't win any house beautiful prizes, il looks ok and serves the purpose.

Caught some Rust at the joint. Not so easy to install

The rust is not too much right now. But yes its there. Not so easy to install took me some time to figure out what piece goes after what Otherwise this us great

Very sturdy

The media could not be loaded. There’s a slight space at the back, but barely notice it. No proper instructions figured it out on our own. You don’t need all the poles and little black parts that go in the poles. We only used two (based on hight). We’ve had it up for like 2 months now. Works great.
