Awesome pack
This pack holds a lot different items for me. All the different pockets work great. And it holds up to the punishment that I put it through im Alaska for about 260 or more days a year. This is my second Amazon backpack and just wore the first one over time. I hold they keep these in stock. I will most likely need another in about 3 years.

Value for Price
I've used this for a few years now and while I haven't experienced some of the issues others have, I realize this is not a 'pro' level backpack either. It is entry level, and should be judged on that. I've used it for weekend backpacking trips, and general camping. I'm not going to put 50 pounds in it and complain that it wont hold, because it's not designed for that. If you're carrying 50 pounds or more, you should look into expedition rated bags, or hunter backpacks, not economy 'store brand' merchandise. And comparing it to the same is like comparing apples and bananas. I've found this bag to easily carry what I needed for short backpacking trips. A hammock, Tarp, UQ, TQ, change of clothes, food water and stove. I do not believe it's a full 75L pack, as I moved to this from a 65+10 and I swear I lost room. The front pocket is shallow, maybe 1 1/2" deep and most of what I've stored there has been miscellaneous flat gear. Paper, map, etc. I've also found the side pockets to be a little lacking, though they look large, it's deceiving. They will barley hold 2 regular cans of food, stacked, in them (not that I would carry that, just an example of volume). I ended up using 1 pocket for my stove/pot kit (Stanley type) and the other for 'storage' (Stakes, misc, etc). So, what about the good? It has a large spacious main compartment with a zipper separation between the top and bottom sections. There is a space for a camel back with a Velcro strap to hold it and a hole to route your hose through. The "Brain" on the bag, has an external pocket and an internal pocket. I keep my night clothes in the inside pocket and the things I need to reach quickly in the outside one. There are 2 mesh pockets on the bottom, that work well for water bottles or similar. It has a integrated rain cover that it sewn into a pocket on the bottom (No more losing that cover!) and has adjustable compression straps all over the bag to snug everything up. The torso length is adjustable, as is the hip belt, sternum strap and shoulder straps (top and bottom). Although I didn't experience any slippage of my straps others did. This can be overcome by placing new buckles on the straps, if you are so inclined... Overall, it's a good starter backpack. Don't expect much, but you didn't spend much either. Read all the reviews, Good & Bad and decide for yourself.

Extremely well designed!
This is the second AmazonBasics bag I have bought and absolutely love! I'm reviewing the 55L bag. I am 5'2" 115lbs, and this pack is about perfect for me. I was able to adjust the shoulder straps to make the frame fit, thought it would work equally well for someone much taller. I have a hard time finding a bag that will cinch down tight enough to keep it from shifting on me. I had to tighten all straps as far as I could, but in doing so, this pack fit well. When fully loaded with gear and water, I had it at about 45lbs and found that the straps slipped occasionally, but not horribly. I traversed difficult terrain (in/out, and around the Grand Canyon), wearing it for 8-12 hours a day. I adjusted the load straps from time to time to change the distribution of weight and found them to be effective, though they squeaked when I had them loosened to shift the weight to my hips. This was likely more annoying to me than anyone else, but could be heard by others as well. The brain pouch, kangaroo pocket, sleeping bag compartment, and side pouches are spot on. All are convenient and sized just right for the way I use them. The side pockets seem to have been made for 1L water bottles. I used them for 3 different types (designs) of 1L bottles and all fit perfectly. I used the smaller elastic mess pockets to hold bags of trail mix and dried fruit. They were great, and accessible while moving. The water bladder pouch and hydration hose port are equally convenient and well designed. The rain cover is good, and likely fits a completely filled pack just right. I had a tent strapped to the outside of the pack, and the rain cover was a little too small to fit around it and reach the top of the bag. Lucky for me, it is durable and I was able to pull it up well enough, but I will carry an additional cover in the future. The cover was effective to keep the pack dry and is sufficient to cover a full pack, I just need it to be a little bigger to fully accommodate the additional items I strap to the outside of the pack. Saying that, the straps down at the sleeping back compartment are well designed and worked well to carry my tent. Overall, I love this pack! I would give 5 stars with the following improvements to the pack: 1. Locking tabs on the shoulder straps to keep them from slipping (though, again, this was not constant or enough to keep me from using this pack on future hikes). I had it loaded down pretty heavy and wore it through a pretty technical hike. I don't think it would be an issue with a lighter load or on a less strenuous hike. 2. Slightly larger rain cover (keep in mind, I had a tent strapped to the outside and needed the cover to go over it, as well as a very full bag). 3. A remedy to squeaking load straps. 4. Addition of hip belt pockets.

Solid Bag with awesome build quality !!
This is really a very good buy in this price range. Available with all the features that you see in costly Rucksacks from decathlon, wildcraft etc etc. There's a way to handle any product. So if you will pack your clothes right, adjust the supporting staps accordingly. This bag is gonna work like a charm. This has enough of space in the upper side. Good enough in the shoes section as well. You can fit you trekkin shoes along with some small items (socks, hankeys, can fit a sleepers as well). Side pockets also give a good space. Extra hanging loops are very useful as well. Soulder strap adjustment and what not. I took this bag for a 9 days trip including travel and hampta pass hiking as well. No discomfort or pain even after long continuous walks/treks. BUY ++ !!

Amazon Basics 65L Backpack
This is a must have for trekking and camping, plenty of space in the main and bottom part, surrounded by small and medium pockets, the thing I like most are the sewed in straps for carabiner, I’ve got all what I need in the bag for 2 nights camping. I would say this is the deluxe edition of all the backpack I own. I highly recommend this backpack to people with a lot of gadgets.

Good beginner hiking backpack
This is great if you're a beginner and looking to wet your toes to hiking and backpacking and not break the bank. It can fit a great deal of kit. I typically go for 3 day trips with a pack weight of 11-14kg and it was very comfortable. I watched some videos and seen reviews about loose straps and this does occur. However this can easily be solved by passing the strap back through the buckle which locks the straps in (see pictures above). I found the water bottle pouches are a tad tight for larger bottles (my 1ltr nalgene)and hard to reach. Also the sleeping bag compartment is a squeeze for my Snugpak Travelpak 3 (synthetic 1.5kg sleeping bag) bit does fit with a fight - no sign of wear at the zips or anything so I think the bag can cope. I would like to have had waist strap pockets however I had MOLLE compatible water pouch and storage pouch and is a welcome addition to carry a water bottle, snacc, phone etc. I would also have liked side strap buckles to strap things like a roll mat to the side vertically as opposed to horizontally at the bottom. However I plan to use aftermarket buckles to achieve this. As with a horizontal roll mat this makes the rain cover a bit dodgy as it has more to stretch over! (I recommend using a large poncho instead anyway as it covers you and your back and importantly the straps) This bag is very robust and comfortable as I was able to hike approx 15km with no discomfort at all with a 10-11kg load. And found out the ruggedness when I was traveling down sheer rocks in which the bag definitely suffered some scraping down rocks - again no signs of bad damage so bag is very tough! So on conclusion, very good pack for the money, great for beginners. Some ideas for improvement but issues and downfalls can be solved with some cheap aftermarket purchases
