Good Value Plyobox
I purchased the 24"X20"X16" version of the plyobox for my home gym and would buy it again. As the price was less than it would have cost me to purchase just the plywood, it's a good value. It's made of quality 3/4" plywood, the joints are accurately cut, the non-skid surface is a nice touch, and the markings were cleanly done with a CNC. The few voids in the plywood edges (normal for good quality plywood) that would have been visible were filled by the manufacturer. The edges were eased so that they were not sharp. The assembled box is sturdy and solid. While assembly was not difficult, I took off one star as the instructions claimed that there were three different "golden" screws for the internal brace. These were not present in my package but there were enough of the other screws to complete this step. A few assembly tips: I pre-drilled each hole before driving the screws to minimize the chance that the plywood would split. The included screws are allen key drive; I used a power drill with an allen bit rather than the included small allen key. I also took a router with a round-over bit and rounded the inside and outside of the handle cutouts so that they are more comfortable to use. As delivered, the handles were cut square and hard on the hands.

Incredibly bad hardware. Still a great value.
PSA**. Reading the reviews there seems to be some confusion about assembly. The included instructions are missing some steps so I thought I’d help out. Step 1 open the package Step 2 locate the included screws Step 3 (this is the most important step) throw those screws in the garbage Step 4 get a box of 1 5/8 inch decking screws they’ll be torx drive or Square Drive, I used deckmate but the brand doesn’t matter. Step 5 Assemble the box per the included directions using the decking screws. ** I found a lot of the reviews written by people very confused about assembly or very frustrated by assembly. Somebody here claims that it took three hours to assemble this box. I can’t speak to that… but in an act of hubris I decided to time how long it would take me to assemble. What I realized is that the included screws are of such low quality, they’re so soft and poorly machined, you could probably deform them with your hands. They are simply not hard enough to handle the stress of being driven into the side of plywood. I’ve literally never seen anything like it, so the simple act of driving them in (again to the side of 3/4 ply) strips the head of the screws before the screws are fully seated and that leaves you with a conundrum: you have this partially tightened screw with a completely stripped head. This is of course why God invented screw extractor bits. Anyway, so I’m timing myself and I discover on the first screw and then the second screw and then the third screw, this problem I just described. So stop, find my screw extractor, locate a box of deck screws of the appropriate size.(the aforementioned 1 5/8 inch) I remove the stripped OEM screws and then assemble the box. The whole thing took 26 minutes. The part where I was actually assembling the box, once I figured out that I just needed to do it with different hardware took under 10 minutes. I can understand that if it took you 7 or 8 screws or 10 screws to figure out what the problem was or perhaps if you never figured out what the problem was, this would be exceptionally frustrating, HOWEVER if you follow the directions I just provided and start with different hardware from the beginning the assembly should take under 20 minutes even if you’re completely inexperienced at assembling things. The end result is a box that while not perfect feels very sturdy and at $79 plus around seven dollars for a box of screws of which I use maybe 25 this is still the best value in. plyo boxes. Good luck.

Great box, but drill pilot holes
The box is sturdy and pretty easy to assemble. I would certainly buy it again. It comes with an allen wrench for the screws and with a few extra screws, which is nice. Note, however, that you should drill pilot holes using a 1/8" bit (or maybe 7/64"). Without a pilot hole, you're likely to strip the screw heads and possibly split the sides. Also leave the sides a little loose before you put in the interior cross braces. Get them positioned, then tighten the sides. Two other minor notes: (1) The grippy surface on one side of my box was slightly defective (see picture), but it is not a big deal. The surface provides a good amount of friction. (2) The printed instructions do not depict the internal cross-braces accurately. The pictures show the end blocks on each crosspiece placed on alternate sides of the crosspiece, but the end blocks are on the same side. This doesn't affect the functioning.

Great boxes, but...
My 16x20x24" box came today and I was supper excited until I opened it and the wood was all chipped on one of the 24" sides. Still usable so no huge deal - just unfortunate. Then I go to assemble and it's missing the gold screws that hold the center together. Again no huge deal, I can try to find some I have laying around to use. Last grievance, which again is small, but the instructions are very vague so you need to make sure you're putting it togther correctly even if it doesn't match the drawings. I want to note that I purchased this because I use them at my gym and LOVE them! Just bummed that mine has a few small problems. Basically I know how great this box is (hence the 4 stars), I just was unlucky with a few things.

Great box
The box is great, love the no slip surface. The directions for the inside for support suck.

I'm with the others regarding ease of assembly.
The box is well sized but not very tight in dimensions. There are tiny gaps because the cutout corners are not squared. Enough screws to do the job, good quality plywood and nice reinforcement at the center made up for it. But... The screws have metric Allen head slots and they give you a bent Allen key. Yeah, right. I would've spent two days and would've ended up with bruised fingers if I had used it. You will need a drill and be lucky enough to find the right bit size. I tried three sets I have in my basement until one fit. With the right bit and a cordless drill assembling it is a breeze. Use it every time I walk by it at home.

Absolute garbage
Difficult to put together. No pre-set holes, expected to be screwed in with a crappy Allen key, and that’s it. Instructions are not user friendly, included three pieces that were not listed in the instruction booklet… are customers supposed to guess where they go?? VERY disappointed in this purchase, an absolute waste of money.

At time of Assembly
Missing Screws. I have no other comments given I was unable to assemble the box.

Not the non-slip surface I was looking for
I was hoping the non-slip surface would be more rubberized. It's actually a plastic with a non-slip pattern on it. So while it's non-slip for my feet, it's not non-slip on the floor. Otherwise, the heights are good, easy to put together.
