Lovely fountain, but it was harder than it needed to be to assemble.

First of all, love this fountain. And note, I’m no stranger to water features…but when it came to putting the hose on the nipple, yegads! Couldn’t find the hose at first, and dreaded the idea of sending it back, but finally found it disguised. The plastic tubing, normally clear, had been painted over. I had a devil of a time getting it on the nipple because it was so short! And the video is really deceptive when it shows the guy slipping it on. Not in my experience! I had to drag out my hair dryer and heat it, taking care not to fry the pump electronics. Man what a hassle! BTW, the paint job inside the box base is flake city. I’m hoping it doesn’t ruin the pump. I cleaned out the stuff that came off the hose end but will cover the intake with some cheese cloth to prevent future clogging. Hope it works. Otherwise this is a lovely piece and pretty affordable. Hope the manufacturer takes note and does requisite quality control.

More beautiful than I expected.So I put it in our bedroom

Instead of using it as an outdoor fountain, I placed it on a table in my bedroom with orchids and geodes by the side. My husband is asleep in bed or I would take a picture and post it. I am very happy I purchased it. It matches my eclectic tastes and Chinese screen. It was delivered without a scratch...in perfect condition. I am so happy I purchased it.

Light does not stay on.

The product looks great, and I was very impressed until I set it up, and the light only stayed on for 20 seconds. I unplugged it and the same thing occurred. Now the light does not come on at all. I await an answer from the manufacturer or seller. I don't want to have to send the whole thing back. Hoping they can send a part. On a positive side, I saw other reviews that complained that it was too loud, but the sound is perfect for me.

Paint is cheap

The media could not be loaded. I’m not an expert but paint can cheap off easily, it arrived in great condition but inside of water box bunch of cheap off paint but nothing on outside besides one little circle which I’m fine with. Came very very well packaged. Material is super lightweight but feels very cheap and painting especially doesn’t seem to be durable. Looks fantastic from far away, golden Buddha looks like gold so I really hope the paint stays on, the sound of water is solid stream which is very nice, I put close to the window because I have heavy traffic hope it will block the sound a bit. It seems expensive but comparing to other items of smaller size is very worthy the price, my guess they make tons on margin because material is cheap. Thanks I think it should be 5 stars if I didn’t worry about painting to cheap off soon

Gorgeous but sound dampening was needed

The media could not be loaded. I had previously a vertical wall fountain that you could barely hear a trickle and it was relaxing. This was a much more obvious water pouring into another water body and it was more than I thought was relaxing no matter what setting the pump was on. Finally I read about some musicians sound dampening for walls and bought a foot square tile. I had to trim it to fit into the fountain but it made a big difference and the other rocks and stones to 'catch' some of the waterfall momentum sounds. So far so good as you can see in the video of the newly quieted fountain. Splatters

Beautiful piece, although mine arrived with a chip in it..the fountain just splatters and the fountain is loud..not the pump but the water ..loud...I dont like that..if it wasnt so big, Id return it.
