Not all leather
I really like the fit and comfort of these boots. I wanted to try the the Carbon Max toe. They are lighter. I have a pair of 3 year old Raiders and the soles are nearly walked off so I knew exactly what size I wore. I only gave 4 stars because they are not all leather. There is a good amount of nylon between the tongue and eyelets. I work around welding and cutting torches so I need all leather. I have purchased leather spats to protect my feet from sparks. I believe the multishox system is about the most comfortable out of the box boots you can get and I have tried several more expensive brands. I bought these as a lighter summer time work boot. Although they are waterproof they are not Gor-tex so I would not probably test them for a Western Washington State winter.

Nearly 2 years of daily wear!
New work boot compared to old work boot, about 22 months apart, worn 5 to 6 days a week. About $125 for the pair. Your mileage may vary, but I am pleased with the life I got out of them. Honestly, they still have a lot of life left in them, but between my weight (300#) and my muscle and nerve issues, I needed to replace them for proper foot support. I do communications cabling, working in pretty clean commercial and industrial environments with the occasional construction site; lots of ladder climbing.

Decent work boot.
They are decent. Not the most comfortable but definitely a good boot that holds up well to daily punishment. They scuff pretty easily but that is to be expected. I purchased another pair before this from the same product line that were far more comfortable and better fitting. IMHO you can’t go wrong with Wolverine boots.

Great boot that didn't last
Before I say anything, I work in kitchen. Not the professional people expect for this type of boot. I'm running around all the time on slippery floors, squatting (arching the shoe) or getting soaked on dish. I get boots for work because, I like boots, but this pair really disappointed me. After almost exactly 10 months, they've torn on one side on the eight boot and looks like they will on the other boot aswell (They fit me well, my toes never hurt). For a boot at this price point, I'd expect 2 years of use. A cheap pair I bought a while back from Walmart, lasted me 16 months, and it was only $45. My experience might not speak well of these boots, given what I wear them for (kitchen work), but maybe that means it won't apply to everyone else looking at these.

Comfortable from day ONE..!
This is my first pair of steel toe boots. Being that I have a wife foot, I thought I was going to have a problem with these and actually it’s the quote opposite. They feel like they have already been broken in. I did not get the extra wide being that I tried on a size 12 at a store but needed a size 11. They do feel just a tad bit but still comfortable. I had tried on some timberland boots before these and my big toe on my right foot was already feeling pain when I was trying them out here in my house. That was only after like 30-45 minutes. I’ve had these boots for a couple weeks now and have no complaints.

Highly recommended.
Perfect work boots. A little on the heavy side, but well worth it. Coming from wearing T1mberland Pro's for years, these feel lighter and last longer. This is my second pair, the first pair has been used almost daily in field working environment for about a year and it is still holding up very well. The only reason to replace them it is because I started to sense a bit of foot odor, but the physical integrity of the materials is well within normal wear, in very good condition. They are comfortable enough to kneel down for long stretches without hurting your feet or crushing your toes, they're waterproof up to about 4 inches (tested). Practically zero-days break-in period. They are visible at night and do not slip. Highly recommended.

major deformation on the insole after only 3 months
I bought these boots on May 1st and its now July 25th. in this short time the boots have formed 2 giant lumps under both of my pinky toes making them almost unbearable to wear. Im in landscape maintenance and i walk 15k+ steps a day every day. the mounds formed right where my toes flex during normal walking, I can see the crease on the outside of the boot and its right in line with the mounds. On top of that these boots constantly get rocks and debris inside of them and for the life of me i dont know how, they are waterproof and there is a stitch going all the way to the ankle to keep water out. my somewhat tight fitting pant legs should keep anything from entering above the barrier but without fail i have to remove my boots and dump them out atleast once everyday. would have given them a 5 star rating based on the first 2 months but this last month has really sullied my opinion of them. better of buying 4 pairs of walmart boots and a pair of high quality insoles for the same price IMO

Brilliant work boots
I like them because they are so comfortable and last longer than 3months. My first pair lasted me longer than 6 months.
