Regular wine bottle yes, 1.5 liter bottle, no.

It works well for regular wine bottle or as serving dish for nuts/candy etc. I was hoping it would hold 1.5 liter wine bottle, but it is just a smidgen too small for that. I bought it thinking it would work, but it didn’t. However, for the price and the fact it does hold regular bottle and can be used as “treat dish”, it was still a good purchase.

The bottom was uneven (warped) so it did not sit flat when you placed a bottle in it. Kind of defeats the whole purpose, so it was sent back.
