this could be a really great little holder

You know, this could be a really great little holder, if it was made a little more carefully. With picky eaters at my house, we have four shakers that float all over the table at mealtimes: sea salt, ground pepper, a small pepper mill, and a special salt mix in a re-purposed spice container (think Schilling bottle with the flip-up red cap). So I was looking for a little caddy that would hold all four items together, making it easier to carry them to and from the table, and to pass around. Not quite what it was designed for--holding four shakers--but the concept would work perfectly, EXCEPT... ...that it's very poorly put together. The construction is solid, which I like very much. And it has a nice weight to it. But it wasn't assembled very well so that the three legs it sits on are all different heights, making it sit crooked in two directions. And the supports inside are different heights, making our shakers sit crooked as well. I suppose if a person were buying these in bulk for a restaurant then such details wouldn't matter much. But for us, where we're just using one at home, it is quite noticeable. Needless to say, I'll be trying to figure out a way to balance things out (maybe using some clear cabinet bumpers I have on hand). But I like it enough, and it's useful enough, that I won't be sending it back. Oh, some FYIs: the shakers do NOT come with it. (I knew that when I ordered it.) If you have shakers any wider than 1-3/4 inches, they will not fit in the openings. Your safest bet would be to go with shakers about 1-5/8 in diameter, at the most. Also, one side of the holder is divided, while the other side is not (and that side only has one leg in the middle). And our taller shakers (the Schilling container and pepper mill) are almost too tall for this caddy--they sit a little crooked because the tops hit the handle. So you probably don't want to use anything higher than 3-1/2 inches, unless it's tapered at the top.

Good product but pay attention to defects

Just what i was looking for, for the fraction of the price than restaurant supply stores. Some look like hey were glued by 5 year olds but for the price it is just fine. Just be aware some may be defect, photo attached oh and no, the shakers do not come with it

Handy shaker holder

What can I say, It does what it suppose to do, and looks nice. It is built very well and have not had any problems with the piece.
