It does what is intended to do, collect the bottle caps. However the inside has a rust spot.

Was really great for a while then stopped working...

I shopped all over to find just the right bottle cap catcher and was super psyched when this one arrived. Looked like it would last forever so I wasted no time and got busy installing it under our trusty wall mounted bottle opener. We had to adjust the position a few times to get that puppy just right and then I swear those darn beer bottle caps just dropped right down in there ever single time. Life was great!! Me & my buds could open cold ones single handed which was awesome since the other hand was usually busy. Then about 200 beers later the dang thing just stopped working! We couldn't believe it, we got bottle caps all over the floor again...now what? PS - This thing does not come with any instructions, only a screw.

Perfect size

We replaced a plastic holder that fell apart and didnt hold enough. This is well made and meets or needs.

Looked Nice

This appeared to be a nice, well made item. However, it was much bigger than we had thought it would be. We have a wall mounted bottle opener and wanted a cap catcher to put under it. But this would have taken up a LOT of space. It must be designed for commercial use as it would hold way more caps than we use in many years. However, it is so well made that we actually spent time trying to think of a use for it. Ultimately we returned it, but if you have a need to store several hundred bottle caps we recommend it highly.

Just what I was looking for

Purchased this for my game room, I had a bucket before but the caps didn't always fall into it due to the shape. This thing is large but perfect for what I wanted. It's well made and unlike some I have seen is smooth and burr free. I did have to figure out the mounting distance below the wall mounted opener as there were no mounting instructions, but hey it's not rocket science. I figure I'll not have to empty this for a couple of years, which is nice I think.

Nice Bottle Cap Catcher

Well its been a year and a half with this and I still haven't been able to fill it with bottle caps..... apparently I don't drink enough beer ! I mounted this to the wall on our porch, just below a hundred year old bottle opener. It sits out there year round and it still looks new because it is made of stainless steel. I do hope to fill it up eventually... its large !

nice unit - one star off for having "made in China" right on the front

Looks very smart on my outdoor kitchen unit. One star off for having "made in China" right on the front; since mine is placed off to the side it didn't bother me as much as if I had this more central and more visible. Metal is of good quality, item arrived otherwise undamaged.

So easy to open my beer now.

I love this thing, It makes me not have to catch the bottle cap when opening a beer. I can just take the whole thing off when there are enough bottle caps in the bin and dump the bin. Note, this is kind of large for cathching bottle caps. Unless you are using it in a bar, or you drink a LOT of beer or soda. :)
