Harvested a juvenile black bear first time using it
Smells sweet like cherries. Brought a bear in after 3 hours, it will get on all your gear easily so be careful.

It works if you use it correctly
This stuff works if you use it the right way. Start using it as early as you can, I start a couple months before the season so they get used to the smell. Find a good bear spot where there is a lot of sign, scat, girdled trees, etc. start hanging it up in trees on rags and they will come sniffing around. Don’t buy this product and think you are gonna have bears coming in the first time you are in the woods, otherwise you’ll be disappointed. Bears are smarter than you think, a scent like this that they are not used to will not attract them immediately.

Smells good.
Hard to say how well this works. I have had a very small bear (2 year old) come into it and chewed up the ground where it had dripped and then left. Other than that I have no trail cam pics r videos of bigger bears (or any other bears) taking much interest in it. It smells great and is really sweet and strong though so I still use it and get bears in to my bait but it's just one of many things I use, so again, it's hard to say if it really works other than what I have seen with one small bear.

Solid product
Baiting bear in an area with a low-moderate population of black bear . Prior to using the product only 1/3 of my baits was getting hit . I used this product at all three of my baits had bear within 2 weeks . Uncertain as to whether it was correlation of causation given the factors involved with bear baiting but I will continue to place a few drops on a scent wick near my baits until season opener . Five stars .

No Bear
I have tried to use this product, it does not attract bear, I have born on the property, plenty on the camera, I used the attractor in front of one camera however I did not see any bear coming and sniffing the area I spread the Bear Lure.. but they the Bear are cruising in front of other cameras maybe like 200 yards away..

Too bad it didn't work.
I purchased theWildlife Research 100 Ultimate Bear Lure Bear Attractor (4-Fluid Ounce) and used it on the Early Bear Hunt in NYS Adirondacks. I hunted 3 days Sept 15, 16, and 17, 2012 and used the product as directed hanging a strip of rag soaked with the lure) six feet above the ground. While I could smell it (very sweet). I did not lure in any bears. I ame going to Colorado this Oct )2012)to hunt Elk and Black Bear, I will try it then, however I am not sure if it is legal to use in Colorado. If it is not legal I will NOT use it. I only gave it one star because I did smell it, however it did not produce the expected results as advertized.
