Works as described

I use it to feed a mixture of grain to a stud horse 6 times a day. Battery lasted almost a month before I had to charge it.

Lot of stuff for the price

I have not installed this unit yet, so I can't address the functionality. However, I have used this timer before and it works fine. This main thing that blows me away is the price. The box, the timer, the motor, and the "eliminator" for 40+ bucks! The only think missing is a 6 volt battery and a solar panel. If it works, (and I assume it will), it will be a heck of a deal.

Awesome

Good build, works great . No more corn ninjas stealing my feed . Lot of complaints about it coming with analog timers instead of digital . I've haven't used a analog timer in many moons and forgot how simple,fast, reliable and easy they are to operate just push a button and your ready to go not sure what the big fuss is about. The spinner plate alone is almost 50 bucks if you buy it separately. It's a better deal to buy this set up and you can take the spinner plate off and put on another feeder and still have a back up motor, housing and timer for the same price as the single spinner plate alone . People acting like they getting the shaft but your really getting the deal of the century,suck it up butter cups and just enjoy an awesome product and deal . This thing works flawless and I got spare parts out the deal for other feeders . Well built and you won't be disappointed don't listen to the cry babies talking about the timer being analog if you do you will be missing out on an awesome set up . . Analog is the only way I'm rolling from now on. And all the money I'm saving on corn not having corn bandits spinning my plate. Happy Hunting.....

Great but doesn't come with digital control unit

Quick, easy, and works great. Listing shows it comes with a digital controller but does not. It is an analog controller. And quite frankly, the analog will probably last forever. Never had much luck in the digitals lasting over a year, 2 max. The varmit feature works like a dream!

Not the controller that is shown in the picture

The product is fine other than being shown with a completely different controller than the one in the picture. Of course the one they do ship is the cheaper analog one and not the digital. Dinged them for the misleading pic. I will say that I have used both and the analog one has proven to be fine for my needs. The main difference from my experience: the analog one can only go off once per hour at the start of the hour, and the spin time must be the same for all feedings. Also no spin rate option on the analog like the digital (hi/med/lo), which is something I never switched off medium personally. Finally the digital has a battery meter, which is probably what I will miss the most.
