Spicy!
Turned out exactly as hoped and fixed a bleach job gone sad. I was 4N dark brown and got feeling frisky. My brown pic is where I started. I initially wanted to go blonde! Tried the loreal hi lift and it was a disaster. No lift but hot roots! Did a color oops and one round of bleach. I had missed spots to platinum spots. Yikes! I decided to cut my losses and go with the flow. I really wanted a copper red and I actually got something right with this color! I used it with a 6 vol developer and left it on 45 minutes. It did a great job of covering my mistakes, my grays, but it didn't look homogeneous. My light and dark areas blended in with depth. My hair is permed as well and I was really worried about damage. Even at the wash out didn't feel bad. Did an Ion deep conditioner and oooh so soft! Really doesn't look like it's been triple processed. The 6 volume developer worked well for me and saved some damage I'm sure. Great color thar will turn out very vibrant if going over lighter browns/dark blondes. In the picture it's still a little damp. Feeling spicy already!

I have been using this dye for YEARS. I use 7rg (Copper) and 20 volume developer. I have naturally light brown hair, and it colors the hair great. I use 2 bottles and usually have leftover dye. It does start fading after about a month, but I usually re-apply after a month anyways because my roots start showing. I get so many compliments on thus color and most people assume it's my natural color until I tell them it's dyed.

Wella doesn't work for me
*I have been a redhead for decades, and I've been through henna, department store kits, a variety of professional hair color brands. In all these years there have only been a few times when my hair color was not some shade of red, regardless of the products or brand. Two of those have been with Wella products and after the first time I said never again. I read that some tick tock popular model hair color shade combined two Wella products so I tried again. The last time I combined several colors and it came out brown, actually close to my natural boring brown. This time I strictly use this product with a 20 color developer, left it on for about 45 minutes and it's less brown indoors, coppery brown in the sun. I want to be a redhead all the time so I'm done with Wella. *Natural hair color is medium brown. Side note: I have had a couple of good experiences with Wella products but they were liquid, not cream. I don't know why that would matter, that has never mattered with other brands.

Very pretty color, slightly coarse hair afterwards
So I had been playing with a bunch of colored conditioners, stripped the color out, recolored and finally decided to go permanent with this copper color. I didn't completely remove the old color from the conditioner before I applied this, but my roots were almost an inch grown out (my roots were very dark brown and rest of my hair had been bleached platinum prior to the colored conditioner). Lifted the roots with a 20V developer for 20 min before adding color mixed with developer 1:1, which I then painted down the rest of my hair and left on only about 10 min. Very pretty color, am ordering more as I read the color fades quickly.

So vibrant and non dripping!
This is a very pretty color with overall easy mixing, application and rinse. I didn’t notice a lot of dripping or a very strong smell and the color lasts very well into the fading period. I don’t have to recolor all that often. See photo for color it’s taken 7 days after coloring. Update: my hair faded pretty fast unfortunately so keep this in mind if you’re not wanting a lot of maintenance in your hair color.

Beautiful color. Everyone thinks it's my natural color.
I have been using this product for years. My previous hairdresser preferred Wella to other brands, and the color looks really natural.

High quality colour
I have been a fan of Wella colour for many years now, very little damage and drying. Their dyes are highly pigmented aswell BUT there is always an availability issue. Can never seem to get what I need when I need it.

Terrible
Terrible quality. Didn’t work on my fully bleached hair. The dye showed only on some parts & the rest was darker than the other. Just bad overall.
