Nice Quality Headstall

I really like these hot oiled headstalls. Especially in the summer, they're butter soft and form comfortably to the horse's head. My only complaint is the sizing is a little big, so if you're riding a small horse or a leverage bit, you may need to punch holes. Browband will be big on small headed horses. I've owned one of these bridles for several years now and put a lot of sweaty miles on it, longevity is very good. Keep it clean, condition it, and you'll have it forever. The buckles are chicago screwed in, so you can easily upgrade the hardware if you so choose. Liked it so much I bought a second one when I needed to.

Have this headstall since 2021/2020

The quality is still amazing, the leather is still super supple and I never oiled it. Very glad with this product.

Very large

The leather quality is good but it's way to large for most western riding horses.

good middle of the road headstall not imported

middle of the road headstall , wish the leather was wider with same thickness . I purchased this because my horse who actually knows like over 22 words in the english language informed me not to use chicago screws on headstall connected to bit . See some rare horse's will actually speak words "if they know your a true horse whisperer .

I love this headstall

Very nice rich brown soft leather headstall. I chose this headstall because my horse has a small head and most horse sizes are too large, and pony is too small. I punched a couple extra holes and had my local tack store cut the excess leather off the cheeks so it would not hand down past the sides of my bit. The color is a little more red brown than the picture shows, but it’s very nice quality. The buckle is pretty and does not look or feel cheap. Very happy with this purchase.

Really like

buuuuut... I don't like how low the adjustments for the headstall are. If you need more than one hole it starts hanging over the pretty Concho and the the horse's mouth. Up high folks... that's the only logical placement for the buckles.

Had many blemishes so sent it back.

Although I love Weaver Leather products, this shocked me at the condition of this headstall. There were 2 holes and a cut in the ear piece. The head piece had obvious blemishes in the leather and the buckle was rough and scratched if you adjusted it. Honestly, I would buy it again but not from Amazon as I need to see the exact headstall I am getting and the condition it is in. It would have looked amazing on my horse but I sent it back for a refund.

Beautiful !

Great headstall! Looks amazing on my mare. Great quality headstall exactly what I expect from Weaver Leather. The leather is very supple, soft and the buckles add just enough bling without being over the top. This is my favourite headstall that Weaver has put out and now have two of them.

I like the quality and I love how it looks. a little downside is that the buckle kinda goes close to the eye when I pull harder on one side of the reins. But my filly does have a really small head.
