You can reset lock code to your own choice
I just received this and have not actually used it but I wanted to say that it comes with a pre set 3 digit lock code BUT you can reset to your own 3 number code of your choice. The instructions are on a label that is attached to the inside of the bag. Its pretty simple to change just follow instructions. (set dials to combination (preset)/ open buckle, locate switch on side/ slide switch toward left with pen/ listen for click/ set combination/slide switch to right to use/ listen for click). I followed the instructions and reset mine and it seems to work perfectly. So far so good. In case you are wondering could someone go and change your code without you knowing - The answer is no - because it has to be in the unlock position before you can change it.

Great bag for cruise
I took this bag on a Caribbean cruise as I was worried about leaving valuables unsecured on the deck when I was in the pool or on the beach while at an excursion. Grab and go theft is one of the most common crimes for vacationers. While someone with intent could use a knife or scissors to get in the bag it definitely fits the bill at reducing grab and go crime. It took me a little bit to figure out how to set the code, but once I looked at the instructions and mechanism closely it was easy to figure out. This is a perfect inexpensive way to secure items at a pool or beach.

Waterpark must have
The numbers weren't super easy to spin, but they were effective. Very easy to set your own code. A determined thief can still break the clasp or cut into the fabric, or even steal the entire chair that the bag is attached to, but the thief would be noticeable. Idea is that you don't make yourself an easy target. This bag kept our valuables safe at a very crowded Kalahari indoor water park. So glad we have it for attaching to our chairs at the public pool and the beach for this upcoming summer season.

It works great to lock your stuff up at water parks, not sure if it’s actually waterproof because we haven’t used that part.

Piece of mind
Good size, it's bigger than other similar products offered out there. Fits everything you need for one person to the pool. Good resistance material, easy to use (rolls into itself a couple of times). Gives you a piece of mind when going to get away from your location for a couple of minutes. Now the bad, not really, only shortcomings: Lock: it comes preset combination. You can change it to your own number, but is a little hard to press the button. Straps: the fact that they are a cord, Makes it to be use for short periods unless you don't mind those digging into your shoulders. In resume: recommend it, good price, and gives you piece of mind! Now not for long term securing of course!

Great Idea
We purchased this before going to a waterpark. We were able to have our phones and other valuables when we wanted/needed them but secure them at our chairs when we wanted to leave them behind. Just be smart about what you attach it to so it can't be removed. Only wish might be if the bag were waterproof not just water resistant. Wish we had thought of this for prior trips.

Worked as advertised for me
This worked as advertised for me. I was able to reset the code (had to play around with the red button a little for it to reset, but it wasn't hard). I see a lot of reviews saying they were able to roll up the bag and stick their hand right in. I found out that if you're able to do this, you didn't turn your lock the right way. Once you bring the ends to together, the numbers on the lock should be in the inside vs facing the outside. If your numbers are facing the outside, you will be able to roll it up easily and open it with no issues. Now of course this isn't 100% theft proof, for it won't take much for someone to simply cut the bag to get into it, but it will certainly make them move on to an easier target if they have to put in too much work to get in.

Ingenious
We used this bag on a trip to the Bahamas. It was comforting to lock up our valuables, room key and phones while walking the beach and going on water rides. We locked the bag to beach chairs when we didn't want to carry it around. The bag is definitely waterproof which is a big plus as I used it on a fishing boat and when the waves came over the bow my belongings stayed dry even though I got wet! I only wish the straps were more like back pack straps which would make it more comfortable to carry around.
