Decent, but not commercial grade
I use this to make smoothies and frozen drinks. Pros Gets the job done. Simple toggle switches (yay!) Sturdy plastic container. Easy to clean Cons Requires a LOT of manual intervention to complete the mix. (I mean a LOT!) Air pocket forms quickly around blade assembly requiring scraping and adjustments to get a good grip on mix materials. Frequent burning smells Overheats frequently (thankfully found this is a protected mode - so far has resumed once cooled) Container lid comes loose easily while mixing due to vibration Blade assembly doesn’t appear to detach from container Plastic helical drive systems always seem a bit suspect Overall what you would expect from a <$200 blender. Not the best, not the worst. Some blending tips with this model If you pack this unit with ice and frozen fruit + liquid it will never complete. It will also likely overheat without intervention. Start with a partially full container (1/4 - 1/3 full) and add ingredients as you make progress. Add additional liquid / mixer to start if that’s an option. Add more ice as you make it through the first stage. I have found that using the pulse (hi power) toggle in busts tends to yield good results once good grip is established with materials. The biggest drawbacks are the amount of manual intervention that is required to clear stalled or blocked mixes. It can be quite time consuming to mix a full pitcher of frozen smoothies - upwards of 5-10 mins with a lot of interaction required. This is not a ‘one and done’ hit the switch and get your result blender. I can’t imagine this model (BB300) would ever work for commercial applications, even low volume. Waring is known for their top end commercial blender products. Would love to try their high end blenders to see if they are as good as they used to be. Waring top end blenders can run at $1000-1500 or more. I’d need some better product reviews of those models to consider over similar Blendtec or Vitamix mixers. Waring is owned by Conair. RMA process was to return to local point of sale first Amazon purchases contact Conair directly. They offered easy replacement via shipping exchange. Unfortunately, the new unit isn’t going to overcome its design limitations so I suspect that the same problems would persist.

Underperforms
I purchased because its supposed to be much more powerful. I make smoothies with frozen fruit and itstill doesn't always blend without shutting itself off like my much cheaper blender did. WAY overpriced

Best blender ever
Very heavy duty made in USA construction. Simple, durable toggles, thick container and top. Definitely worth the extra money.

Powerful
This blender makes amazing frozen drinks. No ice chips left over. I was using it at my restaurant. Unfortunately one of the employees broke it after just 3 days because he knocked it on the floor when the jar stuck to the base. The toggle switches are very flimsy and snapped. Definitely user error, but if it was a bit more sturdy it wouldn’t have broken. But if you don’t have clumsy people using it I would highly recommend this blender!

Already breaking down after 6 months of use.
Mainly used for making hot sauce twice a day. After 6 months of use, it started leaking, making grinding noise and not blending as it used to . When I first got it, it worked great!

Waring Commercial Blender
I just got the blender. So far its ok. If anything goes wrong I will repost. I bought the blender for smoothies and also wanted a product made in the USA. Very tired of buying foreign junky products. The blender is a toggle switch blender. I was on the fence about the other model which is a digital pad a bit more money but if the toggle ever breaks you can get the parts to fix but if its the digital pad you are screwed if it breaks so that is why I got the toggle. Its a 1 HP blender, 6.8 amps. To me the blender is not that loud. It has rubber feet and I haven't noticed it moving around while blending. It is easy to clean and has a nice sturdy feel and look to it. It is easy to operate, very simple not complicated which I wanted. I could not afford the Blendtec or Vitamix so this so far is a nice compromise. I just bought it for smoothies and so far it is ok for that. I use it about once or twice daily so far. There were only three types of blenders made in the US: Blendtec, Vitamix, and Waring. The Waring was the most affordable so that is why I chose it. The box says made in USA. I only try to buy USA products anymore.

Good Blender
So far we love the power of the blender. But the stainless steel jar is not the best quality, as the handle and base are glued on with the hardened glue still visible around the seams. It works fine, but it is not a single piece of forged steel. Also, for these reasons, dishwasher is not recommended, so you have to wash by hand. Doing so with a bottle brush makes this pretty easy, however. But, what is great is that there are no plastic parts that touch the food, and that was the most important thing for us, with great blending power to boot.

Awesome blender!
Powerful! Perfect for my blending needs! I needed a blender that would pulverize ice and this gem does just that! Don't need all the fancy speeds! Stainless steel carafe that doesn't leak! This blender is a workhorse! Worth every penny! This is the last blender I will ever need! Highly recommend!
