It's a good quality piece of flat pack furniture, ya'll!
We bought this six-drawer dresser for our son's nursery and we're pretty happy with it! We scoured the internet for a dresser that was both affordable and good quality, and after reading TONS of reviews we decided to take a chance on this one. Since the previous reviews are what helped us decide, I'm going to address some points that tanked the reviews on this product. -ease of assembly: ya'll...it's flat pack furniture. It's going to be an absolute pain and take forever to assemble. My husband is not a naturally handy guy but he is patient and has assembled flat pack before. It took him about 3 1/2 hours to put together on his own. The pieces are all very well labeled and if you sort them before hand, it will be SO much easier. You also have to pay SUPER close attention to the small details on the drawings (which side the screw holes are on, which side the little ledge is on, etc), but they are there! -pre-drilled holes: on the 6-drawer dresser, there are pre-drilled holes that you just drill the screws or tap the pegs into. My husband used a hammer to gently tap the pegs into their holes (which all fit fine) with a dab of wood glue on the tops. The only step that did NOT have pre-existing holes was when you use the small framing nails to nail the two backing pieces to the dresser frame. Pretty straightforward, not a big deal. -quality: it's on the cheaper side of what I would want to pay over $300 for, so definitely get it on sale (which it frequently goes on). Overall though, I'm very happy with the look and the quality for what we paid- it's a very handsome dresser! My only issue with it is the drawer pull edges seem like they will chip with a lot of use. -drawer smoothness: the drawers pull out smoothly with no issues! My two-year-old daughter can do it with little effort. The instructions say that if there are any drawer issues, you can use wax to prime the drawer sliders. -tools: My husband used an electric drill on the lowest setting so that it wouldn't split the wood when he was trying to get the screws in tight. He used a hand screwdriver on just a few pieces. The ketchup packet of wood glue they include was WAY enough to use as the directions stated. If you need to come back to the assembly project, just use a chip clip to keep the glue fresh. We emptied half of the packet onto a paper plate and dipped the ends of the pegs into it before sticking them in their holes and still had enough left over to complete the rest of the project with excess still on the plate. -functionality: Like I said, we used this for our son's nursery. If that's your plan, know that a standard foam changing pad LITERALLY JUST fits width-wise on the top of the dresser. It's a bit more narrow than I would have liked for a main dresser, but it still fits everything we need it to. I think this dresser is best suited for areas of the house that you're not going to use a whole lot...like as an entry way or a buffet cabinet, etc. I'm a little suspicious that it won't hold up as nicely as I want it to as a nursery dresser that will be VERY heavily used for diaper changes, storage, and the like multiple times a day. We'll see though! Overall, if you love the look of the dresser and you want something that's a good balance of quality for the price AND made of real wood, this is your piece! If you've never assembled flat pack before, this probably isn't the piece you want to start with!

Lengthy assembly, but worth it.
I'm generally pretty handy, and have recently assembled an entire apartment's worth of flat-pack furniture...so believe me when I say, this dresser is A Project. It is a fantastic deal for a piece of solid-wood furniture, but you need to be prepared for what you're getting into. Be sure to have all your tools ready, take plenty of breaks, and stay hydrated! A few pieces of advice: - The instructions say you will need a phillips-head screwdriver. Make sure it's a short phillips-head screwdriver! Some of the screws are close to tight corners, and a regular-length screwdriver will not fit. - Wood glue is provided, but I would strongly suggest you go to the hardware store and get your own. This one comes in something like a ketchup packet, which makes for messy application and doesn't give you the option to close it up and come back later. - Take the time to sort out the pieces beforehand. They are all clearly labeled, so this isn't too difficult. The hardware pieces are all separated by type, but there are not a lot of extras, so keep track of them. - The instructions are quite good. Each step is provided in text and pictures, and they generally match up. Be sure to follow them carefully, except: - Do not complete Step 7 (nailing on the back panel) until after you've completed Step 8 (installing the drawer rails). Step 8 is significantly easier if you can reach in from either side to install the rails. - Don't sweat the small stuff. There was one screw that I just couldn't get in, despite trying 3 different screwdrivers and multiple angles of approach. Oh well. I made sure everything else was installed correctly, and it seems to be holding together. Overall, I am very impressed and satisfied with this dresser. It looks a lot more expensive than it is! There were some minor quality control issues with individual pieces (eg, I had to shave down a few of the wooden pegs to make them fit), but the exterior looks flawless. It did take a long time to assemble (I was working alone, and probably put in 6 hours over 2 days), but it feels like an accomplishment to be proud of!

Well designed… but execution problems
I can only imagine the corporate conversations between the engineer who designed this and the people deciding what it will be made of and how to make it work to maximize their profit… This is very clearly cleverly designed to be as reinforced and sturdy as possible with the inexpensive materials provided. I was very impressed with The design. However, the veneer and lightweight materials will not wear well. Be sure this will not be in a high traffic area! Everything has been designed to reinforce itself to be as sturdy as possible. There is a weighted block in the back since the materials are lightweight, the dowels that secure pieces while you’re screwing things in come with their own wood glue. Etc. This can easily be assembled by one person. That said, it is 100% by hand. No pre-drilled holes. handheld screwdriver is necessary due to materials. No drills. I have assembled a lot of flat box furniture and this took me about four hours. Some of the instructions should be divided into multiple steps, but if you know what you’re looking for and are willing to sit there and figure it out (possibly switchong some of the order) so you don’t have to backtrack, it is worth it for the price. The design of the drawer fronts is stylish for a mid century look, but is not deep or thick enough to be practical for your hand. I have small hands, and can barely grip to pull the drawer open. I have to do it carefully. With bigger hands, it would be even more difficult. This could be fixed with a thicker material or a deeper cut down into the front of the drawer. As is, keeping for my purposes with lowered expectations for longevity of wear and tear. I will end up with something else long-term.

I only got one!
This product is sold as a two-pack. I received one. I set up an exchange, and again, they only sent one. I was supposed to return the first one, but I did not, because they never sent me a two pack. Night table itself is nice and well made. It was easy to assemble. But be careful, becuase they will only send you one.

Hot pile of garbage
Save your money. This item is very poor quality. You basically get shipped a big old box of broken wooden pieces that are “labelled” with numbered stickers. Except, the stickers are only half on by the time it arrives and you can’t discern which piece is which without first solving that puzzle. Once you begin assembly the quality becomes evident as the finish peels off and the broken, unnumbered pieces are impossible to fit together. Poor quality of workmanship, poor quality of materials, just all around poor quality. What a complete waste of time.

good finition
The paint is a good quality, exactly as as described. Be patient to build it up. Quick shipping, received it 3 days before time.

Challenging assembly
The assembly is ridiculous - took a couple hours to assemble on my own. The amount of pieces they send you is insane. For the price, you shouldn’t have to spend that much time assembling. Also, some of the holes were not pre-drilled, which made the wood split in some places. The nightstand isn’t as white as I thought it would be - it’s more like a whitewash on pine. Nice, but not sure I’d recommend. Too expensive for value.

Instructions missing steps and so difficult to assemble
Looks good but along with being difficult to assemble, front drawers and backing are very flimsy.
