I love this beard trimmer. One of the few American made beard trimmers available. You can tell it’s a quality product that will last for many years

It will shave ur face!

There are several separate number of razors and one adjustable razor. The adjustable one is not so good. But if one is OK ti switch the razors - it works fine, as expected from Wahl. Changing the razors is slightly uneasy, but so far nothing is broken. Using it for almost a year, twice in a month for the beard and is not fantastic but just OK.

Don't Buy - Pulls/pinches hair - blade already broken.

Now FEB 2023, Bought in Dec 2023. If this product wasn't already broken/defective my score would be higher. But as it is, paid about $70 and this thing is already useless. One of heads/blades broke and it pulls/pinches instead of a clean cut. I bought a cheap Wahl groomsman for $20 in 2018 and now last 2 products I've purchased from Wahl just pull your hair instead of a clean cut. Might be time to find a new brand. The trimmer parts are made of ehh plastic. The device itself has a nice weight and would be ok if it wasn't cheaply made. This was about a $33/mo rental for me, so not exactly what I was looking for.

Paying for the Wahl name

Review for: Wahl Lithium Ion 2.0 Multipurpose Beard Trimming Kit with Precision T Blade for High-Performance Grooming, Detailing Head for Light Touch Ups, and Ear, Nose, and Eyebrow Head Wahl is a long-trusted brand but you're really paying for the brand in this case. Trimmers like these are available for $40-55 or so. Basically, the main item you're getting is a T Blade Clipper where you can get a really good one for $34 max. Pros =Brand you can trust (typically). My last Wahl hair clippers lasted like 4-6 years. haha. I just couldn't figure out how to sharpen the blades or I'd still be using them. =Very nice bag =includes a small bottle of hair clipper oil which is often not included they claim due to logistical reasons. You can buy a nice big bottle of hair clipper oil for $5 on Amazon. Iffy =I've never seen a person that was interested in the detail trimmer attachment. I talk to LOTs of people who use hair clippers and no one's even mentioned it. Cons =NO LCD at all. The good trimmers now (from China) come with LCD that shows % remaining, low battery, travel lock (sometimes), and needs oil =No USB charging or USB-C charging =cable is custom to hair clippers and you need this specific cable to charge. If you lose it, you'll have to buy a replacement and you can't use other cables to charge. =does not follow the new style of color comb guides which allows you to easily remember which ones you use more often.

Wahl is king of razors, even if it is pricey

Earlier this year I upgraded my beard trimmer to this model from Hot Tools: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09RGDXXHQ/ The Hot Tools trimmer is a solid performer, but there are a couple things about it I didn't love: 1. It lacks a dedicated power source! It comes with a USB cable that you need to attach to a 5A USB power supply that you provide. 2. Some of the attachments do a "just okay" job, but leave me dissatisfied with the uniformity of the cut. So when I saw this new trimmer from Wahl, I really wanted to compare and see if their new product gave a better experience. Here's what I found... In short, I feel like this trimmer is nearly perfect for me! It comes in a nice dopp bag for storage. It provides a traditional power adapter, which I like. The various attachments are really easy to pull off and snap on. I've experimented with several of the attachments, and I generally like them better than the Hot Tools equivalents. The nose trimmer in particular does a much better job. But I also think the basic trimmer guides leave me with a more even cut. If you leave the guides off, then the regular blades do a pretty good job of trimming hair on their own. The Hot Tools trimmer came with a couple of foil attachments so you could try to do actually shave with it, but I found those attachments pretty disappointing and not really a substitute for a dedicated shaver. This Wahl trimmer doesn't include any foil attachments, and I think that's fine. The only thing that I think is strange about this trimmer is the power button. For some reason, it doesn't actually move much or click when you push it. It's not exactly a problem, but it's certainly a little strange. I'm not sure if they're trying to reduce the risk of it coming on unexpectedly if it gets bumped during travel, or what. The instructions provide a few notes about how to take care of your beard, nose, eyebrows, etc. using the included attachments. I think that's also a nice touch, and something the Hot Tools trimmer did not provide. SUMMARY For me, this is a top quality trimmer, and the included attachments all worked great. I'm really happy with the results I've gotten with it.
