Love this wig

I am new to wigs so here are my reasons for buying this wig. 1) Once I hit menopause & started taking hormones the texture of my hair changed. My hair used to look just like this wig; long, straight and shiny, but now it is curly, coarse and dry. I wanted a wig that looked like my old, pretty hair. 2) I am not a 'glamour' gal and I do not like taking a lot of time getting dolled up to go out. I am more of an outdoorsy/ jock who needs to be able to occasionally clean herself up and go out in public like a social member of society. The ponytail hairstyle was getting old and not very pretty. I love the idea of just putting on a wig and BOOM, hair is done. One less thing for me to deal with. 3) I have been toying with getting a new haircut with bangs but didn't want to make the commitment and then figure out that I had made a mistake that was going to take a long time to recover from. This wig was a great way for me to give the layered look a 'test run'. The color and texture were wonderful. Very pretty and simple. I could have easily passed it off for my own hair. I have been wearing it around the house trying to get used to the 'new do'. Can't wait to go out with on. Since most of my friends only ever see me in a ponytail, they have no idea what my hair looks like when it is down. It will be fun to get their reactions. Some things to note. This is a very light weight wig. It works well for me because I have my hair tucked up under it and it's the same color as the wig. If you don't have any hair your scalp would probably show thru. I think it will be great as something I throw on now and then just to go out for the evening but I don't think it's sturdy enough to be an all day, every day wig. It's a $28 wig. Don't expect the same quality as one 10x the price. Hubby thinks I am a goof ball for doing this and that I'm pretty no matter what. What a nice guy. :) I am new to wigs so here's my story. Great Everyday Wig - After Modifications

I love this wig, great value, love the layers, good quality and comfortable to wear with it's open weave at the back. It looks really natural BUT the style of it is really old fashioned. No one wears their hair with that little flick at the bottom anymore , it really ages you and is a dead giveaway as a wig but thankfully this hair is heat resistant so once the lenght has been straightened it looks amazing. I only wear my wig for a few days at a time inbetween wearing HH wigs to give my scalp a break from glue so getting used to it took a while but I'm very happy with it. It tangles a little in the back but not too much. Overall a great everyday wig that would suit many people.

Pretty but slight flaws

I do enjoy Vivica Fox stretch wigs- they are very comfortable and light and breathable.....I like this style- I love the layered flipped up look. I wish the flipped layers started higher on the head- but being a hairdresser I easily fixed that problem. However, when I went to hot curl the newly cut layers up, the hair went straight. It would not curl period. After I shampooed her, Brie behaved better. The bangs are a little too thick and can not simply be swept to the side. I had to cut them too. Overall, however, I do like this hair unit and will buy again in a blonder color. Being a cosmetologist, it is my duty to give you as much information as possible on the unit. Another point I should share is that the Brie I got was flipped out on one side and flipped in on the other side. I had tried Brie on in a wig shop prior to buying it on here and it did not have this problem. I just learned from 'youtube' that setting a wig out on a head/mannequin for a week will fix similar problems. It has been 3 days and I can see a slight difference. Again let me stress that this is a lovely wig and I am getting another one. Do not let my "overhaul of 411" scare you.

Amazing; just go for it !

Just received the product and I am super happy with it. Looks like shown in pics. especially the second pic in product description. I had ordered two of these in different colors. Both came nicely packed in its own net etc. Dark brown is almost blackish, a really beautiful natural color (see uploaded a pic1) Off-black with dark auburn highlights is simply great. (pics 2 & 3). The bangs are longer and very flowy which is a bit of a challenge to handle but looks good. The cap is a tiny bit loose but should be able to tighten it. Fiber looks good, just not sure how long it will hold its texture. It's curling iron safe - which is nice. Will try to revisit and update on how well it holds. For now, go for it! Worth the price.

No heat tried

Hair was in two different types, wish all was same as top portion of hair. But still looks great when on. The back portion got tangled and sheds. The wig comes without any extra combs for security so extra pins are needed. Has not tried the heat to hair afraid of quality being all lost.

So many compliments!

I purchased this based on the good reviews and the pretty Style. It was worth it! I got a ton of compliments right away. Some people didn't know it was a wig. A couple of them asked me where i had gotten my hair done. A few friends asked me if it was a wig because it was so different from my usual hairstyle and said it was very realistic. My boyfriend loved it and wants me to do my hair in the same style. I left off one star because the all over stretch actually makes it want to shrink up some, which makes it pull a little. Also, i have thick hair & it was a little tight.

Just ok

The wig is cute. However it wasn't exactly as pictured. I suppose with some styling products you can achieve the look in the picture. I love the length & style. The fit was comfortable but a little too large for me and it didn't lay smooth on my head. It has no combs attached or stocking cap included which can make it easy to shift & move so wearer beware. The hair tangled/balled up underneath and the bangs were a little too long for my face so you may have to trim it. Over all I liked it & would purchase again to have an extra. You can curl it with curling iron on low heat. This is a nice wig for an occasional night out, but won't last for much more than that.
