I wish I knew how good this product was. But does not include specialty bit.

UPDATED. Original down below. Once I got the Bosch bits or these, they were awesome to use. I understand why the specialty bit, both for added torque going in, but also security from removal. I have upgraded this to a 4 star from 3. If the bit was included, I would rate 5 stars. The screws go in smoothly, not too much friction/heat and they stay true. ORIGINAL: I wish I had seen the other review when I actually ordered this product. This screw came fast, and looked really good. The issue is that it is a square drive on the head. Most screws that have specialty heads, INCLUDE the bit. This does not. I am rating it three stars for the inconvenience. No where in the description does it speak of needing a specialty bit, for this reason I have to knock it down. If I were at a part of the world where I could just go to a Lowe's or a HD, then no problem, but unfortunately not.

Easiest, fastest way to buy specific screws.

Don't really want to spend time in any store right now.. have to try at least 3 hardware stores to find anything close to what I need. Found exactly what I wanted here, had them in 3 days. Perfect.

Must get a small square drive

If you don't already have a small square drive bit you better order one as well. They are hard to find. Otherwise, works great for indoor projects.

Only One I can Find in this Length Without a Phillips Head

Square drive heads are great as they don't cam out the way a Phillips head does. Getting this length size (1-1/4" long) with a square or star heads is very difficult. This length is ideal for joining 2 pieces of 3/4 thick plywood together. I drill a hole ahead of putting the screw through, but these are so sharp, you may not need to do that, kind of like a Spax screw.

Penetrates wood with ease. No pre-drilling necessary.

Easy to work with. Best screws I've worked with. For me, the flat head square drive eliminates guesswork in determining what screw driver size needed; either it fits or not.

Go-to woodworking screws in this size

For Canadian woodworkers with green-handled Robertson screwdrivers, these are great. Aggressive, easy driving threads go the full length of the shank (unlike the picture), cut points need no pre-drilling, flush heads are nibbed for countersinking. They remind me of drywall screws, but stronger and optimized for woodworking. I like that the heads aren't too big. I only wish Amazon stocked a larger selection of sizes.
